Katy's POV
I wake up check my phone and notice a text from H telling me to come into the clinic so I get up and get dressed in leggings and a t shirt and head down stairs Niall is already making lunch. "Dang how late did I sleep in." I said. "Well it is 11 o'clock" he said. "Any need from H?" He said. "Yea he wants me to come in" I said as I put a pod in the Keurig. "Well that's good that means he hopefully has the results" He said. "Yea I guess" I said. Niall stops what he is doing and comes over to me making my coffee and grabs my chin and moves it toward him. We are now making eye contact. "It will be all right whatever the result is you are the strongest person I know and you will make it through" He said. As he was saying tears start to well up in my eyes. "I'm just scared" I say as he pulls me in for a hug. Niall gives the best hugs.
We eat lunch, the normal, and Niall gets ready to leave. We get in the car and head to Harry's clinic. The car ride was silent. We were both probably thinking worse case scenario. We arrive and park...hospital parking is the worst. We walk in and get to his floor and check in. We get called back in to Harry's office. Harry walks in and sits down at his desk and pulls up the photos. "Ok so I have good news and bad news. Good news is that it's just migraines" He says. I let out a BIG sigh of relief. "Bad news is that all your symptoms don't add up to it just being migraines" He said. "ok and what do we do" I said. "Well I want to do a PET scan he look for any cancerous cells" He said. "CANCER" I yell out. "YOU THINK I HAVE CANCER" I yell out again. "No, I don't I just want to rule that option out." He said. The rest of the appointment was just talking about days that would work for us and with scheduling everything I went ahead and rescheduled Nialls Surgery to tomorrow. We went back home and I worked on some work and Niall did too. My favorite thing in the world is hearing him sing while I work. We just enjoyed each other's company for the rest of the Night and got ready for tomorrow.
We both wake up at the same time because I need Niall to take some meds before he comes in and then right as I'm walking out the door H,Ash,Chad come to door. "Wow good timing one for all arriving at the same time but two for right as i'm leaving" Niall is sleep on the couch he needs to be leaving by 7:15 to make it to the appointment on time he is my first appointment of the day so once he signs in I will try and get him back ASAP...Any questions?...(Silence) Ok good." I said. I leave and get to work. I work on updating Nialls file so I don't have to do it later and then I get the Notification Niall checked in. So I walk to the big procedure room where my assistants,hygienist, and nurses are and go ask chelsea the hygienist helping with Niall to go get him. She gets him and brings him back along with basically his whole entourage. "Go ahead and sit down for me in the chair Niall and y'all can pull up a chair and sit around him." I say. "Hold on before you get too comfortable Chelsea is going to take you to go get an x-ray" I say. "Didn't I just have one of those" Niall said. "Yes,but this one is a different kind and I just want to make sure nothing has changed." I say. So he gets up and goes with chelsea. I stay there and set up and talk to Ash ab how things went once I talked to him. He comes back and sits down again. "Ok Niall just to double check you didn't eat past midnight right?" I said. "Nope" he said. "You took the medicine I gave you this morning right?" I said. As I am typing it all into the computer. "Yep" He said. "Ok then let's get started" I said as I pushed the computer aside.
