Part 9

Katy's POV

I decided to call off of work and not come in, I think I just need a day to decompress from everything. I decided get out of bed and get ready and put in sweatpants and a shirt. I go down stairs expecting Niall to be in the couch and he's not there. So I texted H to see if he spent the night over there and surprise surprise he did but, I get why yesterday was very tense between both of us. I make myself a cup of coffee and call Ash over. I go and wait on the couch until Ash arrives.Ash got here and we just snuggled together in the couch. We began to just talk about everything going on. "So what's been bothering you" Ash says as she is basically hugging me while we are layed down on the couch. "I don't know Niall did something that made me mad yesterday but just work has been super stressful lately and...now I haven't told Niall this so you can't say anything but I started to get these weird headaches during work so I went to see harry and I got an MRI and I'm waiting on the results so that's stressing me out." I said. Ash just kinda stared at me probably taken aback about what I just said "and you haven't told Niall?" said said with a questioning tone. "yeah" I said letting out a little sigh. "Why if anything you need to be telling him that, if it's cancer or something what would you do without him you can barely go a day without talking to him nevermind a whole treatment journey for currently a mystery illness" Ash said with a questioning tone. " I don't know I just didn't want to worry him about it I feel like it would be an unnecessary burden especially if it turns out I just have migraines" I said. "Well I see where you're coming from but look at this from his point of view, let's say it's something more then migraines and you have to have treatment how would he feel about you telling him that you already had all these tests done and he wasn't there with you. Katy that's what married couples do they go through this stuff with their partner at their side, not alone because they think it's a burden" Ash said. "Yeah, I guess your right" I said letting out a big sigh. "Now what was the other issue" Ash said."Thats the reason Niall spent the night at H's last night, basically there was something I didn't tell him bc I wasn't going to worry him about it but then when the topic got brought up he said he didn't have it and my assistant chined in and said she did which got him worrying and after multiple attempts to get him to drop the conversation he wouldn't and with all the stress I am going through that was basically my breaking point and I just started crying." I said. "Aww I'm sorry, has he tried to apologize?" She said. "Yes but I was working and I didn't really feel like talking about it I just wanted to go home and go to bed but when I told him I didn't want to talk about it he took it the wrong way" I said. "Like how?" She said. "He took it as I wanted to end our relationship." I said. "Oh well that's a bit weird." She said. "yea I know that's why I just left come home and went to bed." I said with a little bit of tone. "maybe now that you have had sometime to think and your not at work you should have the conversation with him and just let you know how you feel." She said. "I know but he isn't at home right now." I said. "Well when he gets home then,whenever that might be." She said. About 15 minutes went by and Niall walks in the door and walks around the corner to see me asleep in Ash's arms on the couch.
