Katy just left with H and that's the most terror i've ever seen in her eyes and that tops me making her ride a super big roller coaster with me despite her being afraid of heights
"She's one of the most stubborn patients ever" Ashton said
" tell me about it" Ash said
"well I married her, she just knows what she wants" I said
"cmon she's not a moron she knows what she needs hell she has a doctorate and a dentistry degree she's wicked smart she knows what's happening and what's coming next but I think she's just trying to prolong everything" Ashton said
"She just has a way of avoiding things" Ash said
"I spoke to her last week and she was suprised she didn't have a feeding tube then. She's smart enough to know what to do but also knows that's means she would have to admit things aren't working and she's getting worse, which she'll never do" Ash said
"yea y'all are right" I said
" Anyways harry told y'all he is admitting her right?"
"uh no" Ash and I say at the same time
"yea,her health is rapidly declining if she stays on the path she's at now. I give her 3 months tops"
Ash and I just kinda look at each other in awe of why didn't harry tell us and katy knows why didn't she say anything
"What do you mean" I ask
"Harry's going to admit her so he can keep a closer eye on her but also so she can do chemo every other day instead of once a week bc her cancer cells are growing very very fast" Ashton said
Ash and I were just left speechless and I as honestly a bit mad at Harry for not telling me. Katy is never one to put herself in a vulnerable place so it would make sense why she wouldn't tell me. Ashton ended up leaving the room and said he would be back later to check in on katy. time was passing so slowly after that news Ash and I just sat in silence because we didn't know what to say. Eventually a nurse came and got us from the treatment room we were in and took us to Katy's new room. She was still asleep when we walked in. The moment I saw her I broke down in tears. Ash I grabbed her hands and sat on the end of the bed by her feet.
"She did amazing" Harry said walking into the room
"Uh what's wrong she's fine haha she made it" He said as putting his hand over my shoulder
"When were you going to tell me she was getting worse?" I ask
"I thought you guys have talked about it? Her and I talked about it last night at dinner she had told
me how it was obvious and wanted me to come clean. Did you guys not talk about it?"
"why on earth would Katy put herself in a position like that you know she would never do that." I said
"your right i'm sorry. When she wakes up I will go over the new game plan with you guys"
"Thanks harry"
"no problem. now she should be up in about 30 mins, she had gone to sleep and then we also gave her a bit of a sedative to keep her asleep but not much"
"thanks harry" Ash said
I look over at ash and she is also holding Katy's hand sitting at the edge of the bed
"now you push through this Katy,We can't lose you, you are the strongest person I've ever met,you have to push through this" Ash said
"she will" I mumbled
