Sonic Forces Remake

Few Months Later

6 months later 

"Eggman's army is unstoppable. Without Sonic, everyone is losing hope and giving into dispair." Vector said as he walked in the resistence base. 

"Despair is a luxury we don't have" Silver replied confident. 

"I still dream that Sonic is with us. Do you think he might be-"Amy said with sadness when interrupted by Knuckles. "I wish I could think the same but we have to face the truth. Sonic is gone. And Tails... He's refusing to work with us. I think he's lost it. If we're gonna win. We'll have to do it without them" 

"Knuckles is right. Unfortunate. But right." Espio started talking. "We're needing a miracle. But we'll have to make our own miracle." 

Silver replied. "Eggman's army has everyone terrified. We need to show them that if we're gonna win this. We need to work together."

Knuckles started talking like a commander. "Ok. Vector. What are the results?" 

"Whatever killed Sonic..." Everyone stayed silent as they tried to not to get depressed again. "Um. Whatever it is. It's the main reason for everyone's fears and despairs." Vector said. 

And Knuckles responded quickly. "Well if we're gonna end this war. We're gonna have to take this guy down. And it's not gonna be easy. So. Let's get back to work!" 

"Right!" Everyone shouted in response. 

Meanwhile 

Tails was in the middle of a battlefield. He was fixing Omega up after finding him damaged and his inside wires were all ripped. 

"I'm sorry buddy. I couldn't fix you up. I wasn't smart enough. Why do I have to be so useless?!" Tails started shouting in anger at himself. But he was a little too loud and a Chaos appeared. "C- Chaos!" 

Tails quickly wiped his tears and got into fighting position. "I've beaten you before. I can do it again!" Tails shouted once more. Then Chaos started changing. He wasn't Chaos 0 anymore. He changed into a Chaos 6. "This could be a problem." Tails said worried. 

Meanwhile 

Knuckles was getting a little worried about Tails. He was one of his best friends after all. And he didn't want to lose him too. 

6 months earlier. After Sonic's death. 

"T- Tails. Tell me it isn't true." Knuckles said with sadness. Tails stayed silent leaving Knuckles with anger. "Tell me it isn't true!" Tails sadly nodded his head and Knuckles opened his eyes and a tear dropped as he punched a wall. Tails then silently walked off. 

"Where are you going!?" Knuckles shouted at Tails. Tails dropped a few tears as he continued to walk off. 

"I'm... I don't know. But I think... I'm gonna look for someone..." Tails walked off. Knuckles knew that he was gonna take a loner path. And he wouldn't tell him why. 

"Tails. If you're doing this. I want you to call me at least once a day and whenever you need the help. I need you to be safe." 

Tails nodded. "I promise." 

Back to present. 

"I think I'm gonna call him now." Knuckles told himself as he grabbed his communicator. "Tails. You there? You better be safe and not dead. If you are then I'm so gonna kill you." 

Silence and static

"Tails. Tails! TAILS!!!!! ANSWER!!!!" Knuckles shouted hoping for a response. But all he got was silence and static. Knuckles then put his communicator to a tracker and headed out. "Amy. I'm heading out for a little. You're in charge." Knuckles said as he walked out. 

"Where are you going? We-" Knuckles ran out and slammed the doors behind him. "Knucklehead. He's still like this." Amy complained. 

Amy heard something and realized it was a someone trasmitting a call and ran up to it after hearing Rouge's voice. 

"This is Rouge The Bat! I have been big news. Can someone please reply?" 

"Rouge! We're here! What is it?" Amy responded with hope of good news. Rouge explained the situation. 

After explaining they ended the call. "I'll see you back." Rouge said with happiness. 

"Can't wait. We'll send some forces immediately. And I'll tell the others the good news." Amy said as she had tears of joy from what she just heard and ended the call. 

"What's going on?" Blaze and Cream had just returned from their perimeter check. "Is something wrong Ms. Amy?" Cream asked worried

 "Blaze. Cream. H- He's alive!" Amy said in joy. 

Blaze and Cream started crying at the news they just heard. "Y- You mean..." Blaze said and Amy nodded yes. And they all hugged. Then started waiting for the others to head back.

Meanwhile 

Knuckles managed to track Tails to the location where he saw a about to collapse Tails in front of him. "GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!!" Knuckles yelled as he punched Chaos 6 in the face and defended Tails. "You ok?" Knuckles asked Tails as he checked to see if his injuries were serious. 

"I'll be fine. We need to take this guy down before he rampages through town or calls the big man." Tails told Knuckles and he agreed. 

Afterwards they teamed. And so begins the TRUE Chaos boss fight in forces. They dodged and attacked as Chaos blasts with his water powers. And after a while they managed to beat him and made him retreat. 

"So. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!???" Knuckles shouted at Tails. "YOU COULD'VE BEEN CAPTURED!!!!!!!! OR WORSE!!!!!!! YOURE LUCKY I ARRIVED JUST IN TIME!!!!!!" 

Tails stayed silent. 

"Anything you want to say!?" Knuckles continued shouting. 

"Thank you I guess it's been a while since I've seen you in person." Tails responded. 

"What are you even out here for!? It's dangerous and irresponsible! I thought you knew better!" Knuckles said then looked behind him and saw a broken down Omega then felt bad. 

"You were trying to fix him?" Knuckles said while Tails nodded. "Tails. Who is it that you're looking for? And why won't you tell me?" Knuckles asked then Tails looked away. "I'm only trying to look out for you. I don't want to lose you too after Sonic..." Knuckles stayed silent afterwards. 

"I don't think I can tell you who I'm looking for." Tails responded. 

"Why won't you-" Knuckles started talking but got interrupted. "BUT!!!! The reason why I can't tell you is because I don't want to worry you more. I just need you to trust me." Tails asked for his trust and Knuckles look at him. 

"You better not make me regret this." Knuckles told him and Tails smiled. "Sir yes sir!" 

They both smiled at each other. "I'm gonna head back now to the base." Knuckles told him.

 "Ok. Sorry about your communicator. I'll visit after I fix it in no time." Tails told him. 

"Thanks." Knuckles responded as he headed out. 

Later

"Hey guys. I'm back. Guys?" Knuckles said with confusion as he looked around a empty base. He found a note of where they went. 

Hey sorry we disappeared on you. You put me in charge after all. Anyway we found some amazing news. Sonic is ALIVE!!!!! No joke. We're doing the thing you would've done and are currently making a distraction. And in the same time we're gonna buy time to locate a space ship to get Sonic back. Oh we need the ship to head to a prison in space. That's where Sonic is. See you back.

Knuckles looked up from the note. 

"He... He... He's alive! I need to bring the news to... oh ya. Broken communicator. And I have to wait for them to come back. Grrr I hate this feeling." Knuckles said irritated.
