Sonic Forces Remake

Big Wave's return only a way better plan

Sonic started boosting into robots looking for the central tower to find where Eggman was. Then started rail grinding. Leading to more ground to run on. "We're fighting to get our world back. So don't hold back! And focus on saving the world!" Knuckles yelled in the comms. 

Sonic jumped on a platform then  another. Then homing attacked a robot and stomped to the ground and started boosting more. After jumping and homing attacking and more running. He got outside and started skydiving where rockets were aiming at him. 

"Sonic! Go find Eggman! We'll do the rest!" Knuckles shouted. "Ok! Finding Eggman is what I do best." He landed and started running again as he boosted into more ostriches. "Henry! Is that you!? Oh and Joey!" Maria yelled sad on the comms. "Sorry Maria!" 

Sonic ran forward more and more and grinded a little. Then boosted into more ostriches. "MARIA JR!!!!" Maria screamed through the comms once more. 

Annoying little girl knows way too many ostrich names... I should destroy more on my way to Eggman Sonic/Mimic planned

Sonic boosted into a bunch more. "SHADOW JR METAL SONIC JR GADGET JR ROOKIE JR JUILIAN JR!!!!!! NOOOOO!!!!" Maria screamed more.

"GADGET J- I'm not even gonna ask." Shadow decided not to question. "Sonic! Eggman is up ahead!" Amy notified. "Be careful." "Don't worry Ames. I'll be fine." Sonic said running up the building meeting with Eggman and Infinite. 

"Welcome Sonic. Glad you could make it to your funeral." Eggman said with confidence as Tails flew up to the conversation. "Infinite. Do it." "Take this!" Infinite made a small black orb appear. 

"What is that?" Sonic asked. "That my spikey blue friend is null space." Eggman started. "Null space?" Sonic wondered as he told Tails to get back. "It's a little something the phantom ruby cooked up. A closed off space where absolutely nothing exists. Good bye. Sonic. My soon to be eradicated nemisis. Enjoy all the nothing." Eggman waved then flew away.

 Infinite made the small orb turn big and started to suck everything. Sonic started to get sucked in and Tails tried to save him. Gadget and Rookie were in the area. Rookie grabbed Tails before he could get sucked in. And Gadget used his grapple and grappled a building then grabbed Sonic with his hand. 

"Gadget no! You'll get sucked in too!" Sonic said. The grapple came loose and they both got sucked in. Leaving Rookie and Tails by themselves. "But we destroyed the Phantom Ruby's power source." Tails complained. 

"Tsk tsk. Since you always destroy the power source of my weapons. I decided to learn from my mistakes. And I had a backup source underneath the Metropolis." Eggman smirked. Tails and Rookie got ready to fight. Then Infinite used the ruby to send them away from a long distance. "Tails! Rookie! What happened!?" Everyone yelled asking. 

Meanwhile 

"So this is Null Space huh? Pretty empty." Sonic said pretty calm. They started running as they realized the ground behind them was falling. "How are we gonna get out of here?" Gadget asked. "Remember that thing we did in Pryramid? You grapple my stomach and I start boosting." Sonic explained the plan. "Got it." Gadget said grappling his waist.  Then Sonic started boosting themselves out of emptiness. 

"Sup everyone. I missed this place." Sonic said through the comms. "Sonic! Gadget! Tails and Rookie explained what happened. What happened?" Knuckles asked. "Nothing happened. Litterally." Sonic answered. 

A minute ago in the background

"By now Mimic should be leading the wolf out of Null Space. So you know what to do." Eggman told Infinite. He released another black orb that started absorbing everything. Then Sonic and Gadget came out of it. 

Now 

"Now let's track down Eggman." Sonic said with Gadget on his side. They started rail grinding then homing attacked some robots. After more moving around used Gadget's wispon to blow them away. Then they got another rail and started boosting into more enemies. Then they jumped off and hovered to a building where Sonic boosted into even more till they reached a spring where they landed on a rail and reached another spring. Then they started platforming and hovering all the way to the top. Where they landed near Eggman and Infinite. 

"Excuse me. Boss." Orbot patted Eggman's shoulder. Then he turned his head in surprise. "What!? It can't be! It's impossible to get out of the Phantom ruby's null space!" Eggman yelled confused. "Maybe by myself. But I had a little help."  Sonic said back. 

"Grr... This changes nothing! Dr. Eggman will have the last laugh!" He said then flew off. And Infinite had no lines as he followed him. "Wonder how his life would be if he didn't talk in 3rd person." Sonic said and Gadget shrugged. 

Everyone in the resistence regrouped and talked about what they learned. They then decided it'd be best to end this once and for all. Then they chased Eggman down until they saw the Eggman Empire's army ready for battle. "For Uganda!" 

Everyone charged towards the battle with their weapons blazing around. Sonic and the crew skipped through the fights leaving it to the others. "Hey Infinite. Miss me?" Sonic said arriving with the crew. 

"Why yes I did. I was looking forward to your friends demise. You on the other hand. Hm... You can join us if you want." Infinite offered knowing the answer. "What are you talking about!? Sonic would never-" Tails was interrupted. Sonic smacked him in the face. Everyone looked shocked. 

Sonic boosted into Shadow. Grabbed his arms and threw him on the ground then homing attacked. 

Remember. Shadow is one of our biggest threats. It'd be best if we can take him out first Sonic/Mimic remembered Eggman saying

"Faker. What are you doing!?" Shadow yelled trying to guard himself from him. "I've been using you guys ever since I met you! I had a little struggle. With that speech and all. But did you really think I saw my so called "friends" dying in front of me? What I saw in my illusions were fame. Fortune. And much much more! More than you guys could ever give me. That includes my loyalty to Eggman!" 

Everyone had tears running down their eyes. Of course they didn't think that was the real Sonic. But if that was true then where was the Sonic. "What did you do to him...? WHAT DID YOU Do TO THE REAL SONIC!!!!!!?????" Tails yelled while using his tail swipes then used his arm cannon. 

"What do you mean? I AM the REAL Sonic The Hedgehog. And you are all fools for ever thinking I was the so called hero of Mobious." Sonic said punching Tails in the face. Then he ran behind Infinite who then unleashed a blast of energy that caused a shockwave to everyone in the area. 

"Continue if you please." Sonic told Infinite. "Very well. Now. I hope you are ready for oblivion. Cause it's time I burn your resistence to the ashes. With you along it!" 

He said. Then a small beam fired into the sky. Suddenly a giant sun was falling to Earth to burn it everything up. "You've gotta be kidding me. That's just a special effect right?" Knuckles said feeling fear from the sight. "Since we're under the phantom ruby's control it's a part of our reality." Tails said while getting up. 

"Unbelieveable. Can we even do anything against that?" Espio asked with self doubt. "Wait... do you think it's possible to undo it somehow?" Gadget asked. "What do you mean?" Knuckles asked looking at him. 

"When I fought Infinite. Somehow when he was about to finish me his power drained. Then the attack went away before he could fully use it." Gadget explained. "Did anything happen that you can think of?" Tails asked. "Not that I know of." He answered back. "Unless we know any possible reason why. Then we can't do anything."
