I've gotta solve this mystery. Now what should I start with? If I'm right Cream has a mom. I should start with her. Emmy thought while looking around for evidence to clear Cream's name.
She walked up to Vanilla to talk to her. "Are you Cream's mom?" She asked her. "Yes. And why do you ask?" Vanilla said not wanting to talk about what happened earlier the day. "Well I happened to be her lawyer."
"Lawyer? Cream doesn't have a lawyer." Vanilla said. "She hired me a minute ago. Call me Emma The Detective. Any clues you have to clear her name?" She asked. "The only thing I know is that she confessed herself that she was the traitor. I don't know when she coulda called Eggman or anything else like that."
This might be harder than I thought. Hm... Maybe... Emmy wondered
"Well what if I told you... your daughter is innocent." She said hoping for a reaction. "What do you mean? She said it herself." Vanilla was hoping what she was saying was true. "Well. What if I said that the reason why she said that was to avoid the group from falling apart and fighting against each other. So she took the blame herself hoping that the war would end without you guys fighting each other." Emmy explained.
"That... That does sound like something she'd do." Vanilla said starting to get hope. "You're trying to prove she not the traitor right?" Vanilla asked and Emmy nodded her head in response. "Sign me up!" Vanilla shouted.
"Ok! Time to prove that Sonic is an enemy!" Emmy trying to sound enthusiastic "YEAH!!!!!!" Vanilla shouted. "Wait what? What's this about Sonic being an enemy?" Vanilla asked. "Oh right I'll explain." Emmy started explaining. And in the background...
GRRR. That girl ruining everything! Who is she!? I've gotta do something. She clearly knows who I really am. Or at least knows I'm not the real Sonic. But what should I do? Hmmm... Got it. Sonic/Mimic thought of a plan and quickly contacted Eggman.
Later
"I've got it!" Sonic yelled at Knuckles. "Got what?" Knuckles asked. "I found out how to beat Eggman!" Sonic shouted in enjoyment. Everyone looked at him surprised. "Wait REALLY!!!!!????" "Yup."
"So after finding out the bad news... *shakes head* Um I went on a little run to calm my nerves a little. While on the run I saw Eggman and Infinite talking to each other. They basically said that the Phantom Ruby has a power source! Meaning if we find the power source then we can take him down without ease!" Sonic said and everyone nodded saying that it makes sense.
"So Tails got anything?" Knuckles asked. "Let me see. I've just gotta analyze the past destruction of the ruby then go from there. This might take a minute." Tails comfimed then started working. "I'll help." Amy said getting her own computer.
As long as they don't take too long it'll all be fine Sonic/Mimic said in their head
"Got it. The source is on the Death Egg. Blow it up and that should do it." Tails said. "You make it sound easy. This is the Death Egg we're talking about." Knuckles said. "Well I've got a plan. We'll start with a distraction. Then we'll take the defense force down at Chemical Plant. Afterwards head to the Death Egg to destroy it. And finally take Eggman down." Tails explained the plan. "So who's gonna do what?"
"We do have one problem. Metal Sonic is invading the city and we cant leave it unprotected." Espio told everyone.
"I'll-" Knuckles started then interrupted. "Me Knuckles Rouge and the Chaotix will get ourselves and the forces ready for the battle." Amy interrupted him.
"Me and Silver can deal with Metal." Sonic said.
"Me and big bro can help out with the distraction." Rookie said.
"I'll go to Chemical Plant to deal with the defense." Maria said.
"I'll go with Maria." Shadow said.
"I can shut down the power source." Tails said.
"And I can go help him." Blaze said.
"Me too." Whisper said.
They all decided without me Knuckles thought
Everyone headed out to their destinations when Emmy and Vanilla arrived after the explanation. "Whisper! You here!? I need you to confirm Mimic being Sonic!"
Ding dong
"Wow this place has a door bell? Why? Does anyone use it? Roger said in Omega's body as he walked in. "Omega?" Vanilla asked. "Um. Yes. I am Omega. And I am here because I know you and I am here to help in the war." He said very realistic.
"Roger you don't have to pretend." Emmy said. "Oh ok. Where's the others?" He asked. "They suddenly just disappeared." Emmy answered. "I'll call MY boyfriend AND NOT YOURS!" Tikal slightly yandered.
"She's really into him for some reason." Roger told her. "Yup." Emmy answered. "I'm sorry who is the person in Omega's body and the invisible person you're talking about?" Vanilla said confused.
