Phantom Suffering

Sonic boosted destroying some of the clones on the battlefield then ran up the wall that lead to a rail. The rail lead to another area where he started running faster and helping some soldiers take out the robots. Then he asked if they saw anyone moving at high speeds pass by here. Then boosted away. The pain he had was still in there. But he ignored it. Since now the only pain he had was a small headache and he was still a little tired from the sun and all that. 

After destroying more robots and clones while in the process helping some war buddies and them telling him where Mimic went. He eventually found him trying to take guys out. "Hey! You!" Sonic shouted. "What are you doing!? Impersonating me!" He shouted at the fake him. 

"I guess this disguise isn't needed anymore." Mimic said as he transformed into his regular octopus form then taking his green contacts off. "So you're Sonic the Hedgehog. Big fan big fan." He said tauntingly. 

"Mimic. Can I call you Mimic? Ok Mimic. How do you have my powers!?" Sonic asked trying to get to the point. "Let me ask a better question. Sonic... I saw you die in front of me. How are you alive!?" Sonic and Mimic clashed their boosts as the people he was hurting ran off in fear. They then started punching and kicking each other. 

This could work. The guy isn't that strong he's just good at the boosting and homing attacks. Other than that this guy is actually pretty weak and bad at combat. So let's end this as qui- Sonic thought then interrupted by something

He felt a pain in his stomach. "What's wrong!? I haven't even successfully punched you yet. And here you are kneeling down on your knees." Mimic taunted like he actually did something. Sonic kneeled down in pain. 

This pain... Is this what Tikal was talking about? if so... I guess Shadow's on to it. Sonic said remembering what Tikal said

Meanwhile

Maria was feeling a pain in her stomach. Amy who was right beside her got worried. "Maria! You ok!?" She said grabbing her then hammering the enemies with one hand. "S- Sorry. I'll be fine. I don't know where it came from." She said trying to cover Amy with her wispon. 

Where did this pain come from? It just suddenly appeared... Really hope it's not lunch. Maria thought in her head as she started to stand up while aiming her wispon at enemies. 

Meanwhile 

Shadow just encountered Infinite and was now trying to take him down. "You know. I've always wanted to destroy you. But Eggman never saw you as a true threat until now. Now I can finally enjoy what I've been wanting desperately." Infinite said getting red cube traps ready as Shadow boosted forward. 

"I don't know what beef you have with me. Nor do I really know who you are. But I'm sure it isn't enough to start a war." Shadow said really not knowing what was going on while dodging all the attacks. 

Infinite flew into the air then started getting cube attacks ready then fired them. Shadow stood still and used Chaos Spear to block against the cubes. Then he teleported into the air and started hovering with his rocket shoes. 

They started meleeing each other. Shadow homing attacked then kicked off of him and got a chaos spear and shot at him. Infinite dashed forward and quickly dodged the spear. Then punched Shadow who managed to block it. Then Infinite made room out of cubes and trapped Shadow in it. 

And inside the room the wall and ceiling was collaspsing on him. Shadow quickly unleashed Chaos Boost and broke out. Then quickly teleported behind Infinite and roundhouse kicked him in the head then teleported both himself and Infinite back to the ground. Then they started another combat duel. And like the movie is called. Kicking and Screaming.
