Roger and Tikal were past out on the ground. Roger got hit with a bunch of illusion walls which made him dizzy and his vision blurry. Tikal used up all her power with the Chaos Control.

"So... Let's rest up then head out to the future again." Tikal said slowly getting up.

"Wait. We never found out what that voice was. Maybe they're still out there." Roger told her still tired and laying on the ground.

"Could they? You heard them in a self desructing place. Sorry to say. But they're probably gone by now." Tikal said then.

Is anyone out there...?

I'm scared...

"They're still out there!" He said trying to force himself to get up. "What are you talking about?" She asked.

"I just heard their voice. We've gotta help them." "I still don't hear them. Maybe... Hang on I'm gonna make a call." Tikal got a phone out and started calling someone.

Wait. She has a phone? Why? Roger thought to himself.

"Aha. Ok. That'll work. Ok. Right. Bye sweetie. Ya ya I know."

What the heck? What am I listening to? Roger weirded out.

"Ok let's head out." Tikal went into Roger. "Where are we going?" He asked. "To Null Space. Then we're gonna rescue the voice you keep hearing."

"Null Space? What's that?" He asked again. "It's the place you were in before. With the purple cubes and stuff." She answered.

"That's where they're at?" "Yup. So let's go." Tikal snapped her fingers and Roger felt better suddenly.

"You could do that this whole time?" "It's a little exhausting. It's like MP in games."

Is she comparing her skills to a video game? He questioned in his head.

Tikal snapped her fingers again and a portal appeared. Roger ran in and got teleported to the same purple cube place they were previously in. Roger remembered what happened last time and started running as fast as he could before the floor would fall on him.

"So where am I heading?" He asked. "Left!" He turned left as purple pillars started forming and he jumped on them. "Now fall down a few seconds." She commanded and Roger did so then landed on a ground she made.

"Continue running that way!" She shouted and Roger continued until they were about to hit a wall. "Spindash it!" He did so.

"Ok up ahead you should find a giant cube monster." "What does that even mean?"

He stopped when he saw a giant wolf made out of cubes. "Oh." He said blankly.

The pain...

The Wolf turned around and saw him. It destroyed the ground and made shot cubes. Roger quickly dodged and kicked it. "How am I supposed to beat this thing?!"

"You just do what you usually do. It shouldn't be that strong. Just go fast and spin dash." She said like it was the easiest thing ever.

Roger ran circles around the Wolf and every now and then punched and roundhouse kicked. Then finished it with a few spindashes.

"Yes! Huh?" Roger looked up and saw a young red wolf. He quickly jumped and grabbed him. "Is this the guy?" Roger asked. "Yup that's him. Lets get outta here." Tikal said.
