"Herrrrrrreeee weeeeeeeeeeeeeee gooooooooo agggggggggaaaaaaaaiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnn. WHOA!!!!!" Roger looked around in an empty dark space with an invisible wall.
"This is Shadow's head? Wow. It's dark." Roger started talking to himself. "What's that?" Roger looked forward and noticed something that wasn't just random darkness. It was a kid looking black hedgehog that was crying around a pool of blood.
"What have I done? I did this. I'm the ultimate lifeform. But I also a monster. It's a gift and a curse. Why!? WHY!!!!??? No. It wasn't me. IT WAS THEM!!!!!!! ITS THEIR FAULT!!!!!! THEY DID THIS!!!!!! THEY SHALL PAY!!!!!!" A tiny black hedgehog turned into a giant shadow monster.
Phase 1 Shadow's Monster
"What the heck?!" Roger said as he watched him turn into a giant shadow thing. "YOU!!!!!" The giant thing stared at Roger. "Me?" Roger said nervously.
"YOU ARE ONE OF THEM!!!!!!!! YOU DID THIS!!!!!!!" The Shadow Monster slammed it's fist on the ground. Roger barely dodged. "What the heck did I do? That startled me." He said while taking a deep breath.
He started running around the creature as it unleashed a barrage of Chaos Spears. "So many!" He ran as fast as he could somehow managing to dodge all of them.
"WHY WON'T YOU GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!!!!!??????" The guy shouted at him. The Shadow creature slammed his hand on the ground then tried to sweep Roger up. Roger jumped and managed to land on the hand.
"Oh NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" He shouted as the hand traveled a high speed and the shadow monster tried to swing Roger off.
Regular Realm
I can't fight back. He's being controlled. But how can I help him? For now I just need to dodge his attacks. Tails thought
6 months ago around Sonic's defeat
Tails tried to lead Metal Sonic and Chaos away. 2 people he knew he should be able to beat since he's done it before. With or without Sonic's help. But Shadow came in front of him and kicked him down.
"Tails! You alright!?" Sonic lost some of his focus and started to get beat up more. "I'm fine! Worry about yourself!" Tails said trying to reassure Sonic his safety. But right as he said that.
"Chaos Control!" Shadow shouted and teleported himself and Tails.
"Shadow! Why are you doing this!?" Tails shouted at Shadow who had his hand on his head.
"Tails... I only have enough strength to teleport you... I'm being controlled and... I barely regained control... Run while you still can... Before... I kill you..." Shadow said as he grunted in pain from the headaches.
Tails got nervous and started shivering. He knew he couldn't beat him. He hated to do it. But he might have to leave him behind.
"GO!!!!!!!" Shadow yelled at him before losing control.
Tails hated this feeling as he started running away. "I'm sorry! I promise I'll come back for you!" He shouted as he ran off. He hated this feeling. It felt like the times when he couldn't do anything and had to rely on Sonic all the time. It was sickening. Knowing that he was nothing but someone who made it worse for the rest of the team.
And after that he met up with Knuckles and he started up the resistance. Tails trying to keep his promise went out on a lone wolf mission looking for Shadow. Trying to bring him back.
Present
Thinking now. I don't think I really had a plan on how I was gonna bring him back. I experienced way to many ex machinas in my life. Tails thought.
