Gadget's Shock

Everyone was working on the battlefield as they started destroying parts of Chemical Plant while looking for space ship. "Keep it up!" Amy said. "Just a little more! How are we doing on the locating!?" 

"Me Espio Charmy and Cream spot one! Who wants it!?" Vector said through his communicator. 

"Blaze! You and Silver go!" Amy commanded."

"No!" Gadget yelled. "I want to go! If there's a clue..." Gadget's voice turned slightly sad. 

"I'll go with him!" Maria said. "I might not be the best person in combat but I'll do my best. And I have someone to look for too." She added. 

"Ok. Stay safe. And don't make too rash decisions." Amy told them. 

"Got it! Gadget and Maria yelled as they headed out to the ship's location while using their wispons on the robots in their path. 

 "Everyone watch out! The masked guy is here!" Espio told everyone. 

"Please be careful." Cream pleaded. 

Gadget used his jade wispon while Maria used her asteroid wispon as they ran. "Please avoid the ostriches." Maria told Gadget. 

"Sorry. They shoot rockets and I go on instinct" Gadget said. 

"Why did Julian have to weaponize them." Maria said as she watched sadly while another soldier took a ostrich down. "Those were supposed to be my pets." 

"You can build them back when the war is done. And I'll help if you want." Gadget assured her as he blushed a little. "Thanks Gadget." 

"Guys." Espio started talking. "If you 2 lovebirds are done there's a ship near your location." 

"There's a train near you. It's not armed. You should use it to your advantage." Amy advised them. 

"Jump!" Gadget told Maria. They both jumped up and he grabbed Maria's hand and used his grapple wire to get over to the train. They luckily landed safely after slightly slipping. Then the train took them to victory. 

"There!" Maria pointed out at the ship near them. "Got it." Gadget nodded his head and they both jumped off. Gadget grabbed Maria and grappled their way over there. They quickly snuck on the ship and took off to SPACE. They looked at Earth and were surprised at how pretty it looked despite the world being taken over. 

"Wow. I know I saw it everyday of my human life. But have you ever seen something more beautiful?" Maria said amazed. Gadget simply looked at her and looked away before she could notice. 

"Guys. The prison is keeping all communication out. Once you get there you'll be on your own. Be careful." Amy said through their communicators. 

"No problem" Gadget responded. "Once we get Sonic we'll be out in no time." 

"Be careful. We'll meet you back at the base." Amy said her last words before being cut off. 

I want to find anything I can about Rookie in the process. I hope I can or maybe Sonic will know something. Gadget thought. 

Shadow would never go evil. He must have a reason. And I haven't seen him in months. I need to find him. Maria thought. 

"You ready?" Gadget asked. "Yup." Maria responded quickly while nodding her head.

The ship doors opened and they ran full speed. They saw the robots coming in and started shooting with their wispons. The alarms started going off. 

"Intruder alert! Intruder alert!" The sirens wailed.  

"Lets speed through this." Gadget shouted. Maria nodded her head. Gadget held his wispon up in The air as Maria grabbed his hand. "Hover" The wispon said. Then they started flying over the robots while dodging their shots.
