“I’m coming I’m coming I’m coming” cried out the cutest angel on earth our dear little Lux. She is the 3 year old daughter of Lou Teasdale our hair stylist and the connoisseur of everybody’s eyes. Running on her little feet she rushed towards the four of us. “I’m here “, she said stomping her feet joyfully. Harry, Liam ,Louis and me were down on our knees with our arms wide open. There is major competition amongst us on being Lux’s favorite uncle and sometimes it gets intense believe me.
Her blue eyes gazed on all of us before she ran into my arms. I gently picked her up and kissed her forehead. “Did you miss me uncle zaynie?”, she questioned. I sure did I smiled. Louis puckered and pulled Lux’s cheek. “Why don’t you ever come to me first princess ?”, he asked. Lux frowned and answered , “because I don’t like carrots uncle Louis. You always make me eat one.” Everyone burst out laughing. “Kids these days,” Louis said shaking his head “never interested in healthy food.”
Teasdale’s phone buzzed.”I ll be there in a minute”, she answered.
She turned towards us and said ,”Guys I’ll be back in a while. We have an important staff meeting. Lux’s babysitter will come in around five minutes.
“There is no need for a babysitter Teasdale .Her uncle’s can take of her”, Liam said offended. Teasdale smiled. Placing her hand on Liams shoulder she said I know that no one can take care of her the way you’ll do. But you’ll need to get ready for the show and I have work so someone needs to keep an eye on this brat. Besides four boys and one naughty brat is an ideal combination for trouble . “Oi! don’t call her a brat.” Harry said. “She is our princess”.
“Alright boys I will leave and Louis you are next once Niall gets dressed.” With that she left. “I fail to understand women.” I said they think that men are incompetent in handling kids but we are the best aren’t we Lux. She smiled her brightest smile which reached her blue eyes .Liam tickled her. After a few minutes Lux said she was hungry .Harry removed her milk bottle from her bag and our little princess started chugging it down. The amount of notoriety she has, she definitely needs plenty of milk to pull it off.
“It’s as easy as eating a piece of cake.” Liam said, “ the kid is a happy doll. Teasdale was wrong. It is not difficult handling children.” We nodded in agreement on that but it was a bit too early to do that.
P.S. Remember mom is always right and apparently so was Teasdale.
