'What makes you beautiful' was a chart-buster in 2011 and being one of the top songs I downloaded it on my phone but never heard it eventually deleting it from my playlist. December 2014 while aimlessly surfing the television channels , I stopped at Vh1 to see a very handsome boy in a black suit crooning on a song. His voice captured my attention and by the time the song ended I was craving to hear it again. The name of the song was Night Changes by One Direction. The suave handsome boy was Zayn Malik.

After going through Wikipedia and every single video of 1D , I realized I had wasted nearly four years when I could have utlised my time by being a part of this wonderful fandom. Better late than never so I spend entire january 2015 covering every single detail of One Direction and I was enraptured by them , their music , their quirkiness and most importantly Zayn. A British Pakistani Muslim boy who is the most renowned in the international music industry ..... holds a massive fanbase that goes crazy over his haircut. I couldn't fathom his enigma and the more I read about him , saw his videos , the more he intrigued me.

I am a Muslim myself and I was extremely proud of him . I kept on blabbering to my mom about him but I always felt there was a lot more to him behind those hazel eyes and Greek God face.

I use to write poems since I was 7, by the time I became a teenager I started writing songs. My biggest ambition in life is to become a successful writer but writing is too much work and I am quite lazy to create an entire universe and run it.

But thanks to my interest in a certain Mr Malik I decided to pursue my ambition and began this fanfiction. This story is my attempt to understand the REAL Zayn Malik and until now , some where I feel I have succeeded in knowing him. I swear on my mom when I say that I had NO PLOT AT ALL when I wrote the first 3 chapters. I did not know what I was doing but writing made me happy in a way I had never felt in my life and I decided to continue it.

I have written 62 chapters so far , the story has evolved , my writing has evolved and In the blink of an eye today this story has completed one year.

After I wrote 7 chapters I barely had views and votes. It was discouraging and I felt I sucked at writing a story and that is why nobody is reading it.

Shayantika you were the first reader I interacted with who told me I was doing a great job and that votes or no votes my story is amazing and I should keep writing. Thank you doll.

When I read the first chapter of BSMMB , its so cringeworthy and just ewww...hahaha ....a lot of writers edit their stories once its completed but I won't be changing it coz that chapter marks the beginning of my journey and how far I have travelled from there.

To each one who has loved ALLANA .....lots of love right back at ya....

This book has another 20 chapters left ( more or less ) but it wont have an EPILOGUE.

Before you plan to kill me....I don't think I can say goodbye to ZALLANA so time and again I will be doing ZALLLANA- ONE SHOTS....you have already read two of them....so incase if there is topic or a scenario in which you wanna know ZALLANA's reaction lemme know and I'll write about it.

People laugh when Directioners and Zquad members say that the boys have changed our lives.... I use to laugh to I mean how can a singer who barely knows you impact your life and make it better but now while I am typing this ....I can say that Zayn Malik did impact my life and I owe him a massive thank you...Directly indirectly he bought me closer to my dream.....Thank you Zayn....So proud that you are slaying left right and center......
