When they finished lunch it was around 1:30 so they decided to have a Karaoke competition in the living room. JJ and Chloe got guitars, Nick (Nikolai) got the machine set up and River, Mia, and Luke set up the drums, piano, and other instruments. The other kids played on the other side of the living room "Wow. I didn't know you guys knew how to play instruments." Emily said.
"Not all of us do" Jacob said.
"Alright! Who's going first?" Hannah said.
"Not it", "Nope", "Not me" all the boys and River said at the same time.
"I went first last time" JJ said.
"I'm the Judge" Sandy said.
"Emily! you should go first! You're the guest!" Jessica basically yelled not wanting to go first.
"Yeah!" Everyone else yelled.
"Fine" Emily groaned "But I don't know what to sing"
"You should sing 'Mama said'" Henry said as he skipped over to her.
"Hmmm. Fine but only if you and mommy help me" Emily bargained.
"Yes!" Henry yelled and jumped up and down.
"Woah, hey, slow down, I didn't agree to this" JJ protested
"Please mommy. Please. She hasn't sang that song in fowevew"
"Can't you two just do it?"
Before Henry could speak Emily cut in "Nope" popping the 'p'
"Ugh fine but only if you sing with me when it's my turn"
"Your on piano, Henry-"
"I'm on the twiangle. I know"
"Okay then. Let's go"
Emily sat down on the chair where the drums are. Henry grabbed the triangle and went to the front. JJ sat on the piano bench.
"I didn't know you played the piano" Dylan said
"I don't really, I just know a few songs that Em taught me"
"Okay moms you weady?" Henry said eagerly
"Yep. Go ahead bubbers" Emily said
Henry, Emily, all three of them
"When mama said that it was okay
Mama said that it was quite alright
Our kind of people had a bed for the night
And it was okay
