They got back from the store with the bed of the truck full with bags of gravel. Jess, Chloe, and Abby went for but JJ told them to leave it. They all walked inside.
"Okay y'all get the stuff and put it outside. It took three of us, two if I helped, to pick up one bag. So since we got it you get to do the rest." JJ said before going over to Emily and giving her her smoothie
"I love you so much" Emily said after taking her first sip
"What's not to love"
"You really want to know"
JJ raised her eyebrow "Now I do"
"Ok I have a whole list and it's alphabetized"
"Seriously"
"Yes" Emily said grabbing a folded up piece of paper from her back pocket
"And you just carry it around?"
"Mhmm" She hummed giving JJ the paper.
She opened it and it was blank except for one word "Nothing" she read out loud "It just says 'Nothing'"
"Exactly" Emily said walking away while JJ was still focused on the paper
"Wait what is-" she started confused until it hit her "O-oh" she said a little choked up "Thank you" she said even though she was gone.
She looked up "Wait where'd you go"
"She left like an hour ago" Abby said behind her, smiling at how sweet that was
"Which way did she go?" She asked tucking the paper in her back pocket
"Out side"
That's when Henry came running in "Mommy! Mama got stung by a bee again"
JJ facepalmed "That's like the third time this month"
"I know!" Henry said stomping his foot
"Well where is she?" JJ asked
Henry pointed outside towards a tree then crossed his arms over his chest. "Alright well let's go find her" JJ said already walking outside
She found Emily sitting against a tree with her eyes closed "Hey queen bee" JJ said
"Ha ha" Emily deadpanned not opening her eyes. JJ chuckled and squatted down beside her
"Where'd you get stung?" JJ asked grabbing her arms and examining them
"On my face"
She grabbed Emily's face and tilted it side to side then up and down "ehh it looks fine"
"I coulda told you that"
"Yeah well that wouldn't have stopped me"
"I know that's why I didn't say it"
"Well since your fine you get to help unload the truck"
Emily groaned "Do I have to?"
"Yep"
"You suck"
"I'm sure we'd both love it if I did" JJ said under her breath
"What?" Emily asked getting up
"Nothing" JJ said before blushing and turning away. She almost ran into the house, Emily chasing after her
"You sure 'bout that Jareau?" Emily asked as they both stepped inside
JJ blushed even more "yep" she squeaked out ignoring her family's knowing eyes. Emily chuckled at the response.
"So JJ why are you bl-" Nick started with a smirk
