"Nia!" Caspian called catching up with the girl, "I was hoping I could talk to you, maybe we could start over, we sort of got off on the wrong foot" he suggested.
"Uh sure I guess," Nia agreed dismissively heading to her favourite spot in the library. She grabbed a few books on the creatures of Narnia, still astonished at the fact that they exist.

It was quiet as the girl started to leaf through the pages, the prince staring at her, not knowing how to start a conversation.
Sighing, Nia looked up from her book, "Can I help you with something?"
"Uh I just wanted to apologize for how you know, things went before" Caspian started, "Enne said that I should try to get to know you better so I wanted to-
"My god, Enne put you up to this?"
"Well sort of but I-
"Fine, I forgive you. You can leave now" Nia turned back to her book, skimming through the information.

Caspian looked as though he wanted to say something, but instead got up and left. Before Nia could sigh in relief, the prince returned with his own books. The two sat in silence reading their respective books, and occasionally making light conversation. Nia found that he wasn't that horrible of a person and left the library wondering how the hell she's going to convince Peter.

"Enne how the hell do you keep winning?" Ed groaned after his fifth loss.
Enne shrugged, "Guess I'm just that good" she said with a smirk, walking over to Nia and Caspian who had just entered. Susan and Lucy also turned after seeing the girl have a civil conversation with the prince.
"I see you two are finally getting along" Enne smiled
"Yea yea you were right" Nia rolled her eyes, "maybe he isn't the actual embodiment of the word "lame""
"D-did you think that- The prince started looking confused.
"Nah she was just jokingg," Susan walked over and tucked herself under Caspians arm, "I'm glad you're being nice, now if we can only convince Peter"
Lucy sat down beside Enne and Nia, "I doubt that's going to happen" the girl said quietly out of the earshot of the prince. "He thinks Caspian's out for the throne"

Nia looked Caspian over, "I can try to talk some sense into Pete but I can't guarantee anything"
Enne looked over at her friend smirking, "you and Pete huh?" Lucy exchanged a look with Enne and they started laughing.
"You are acting very immature right now," Nia laughed rolling her eyes and getting up.
"Where are you going?" Lucy called
"She's going to hang out with Pete, obviously" Enne said still laughing.
Nia walked away flipping them off and shaking her head.

Later that night Nia was in her room reading one of the books Caspian recommended.
"What are you doing?" Peter asked walking in, the girl gestured towards the book.
"No I mean why aren't you in my room"
Nia's eyebrows shot up, "excuse me?"
"Not like that" Peter flushed red, "Just, you know, how we usually do" he stuttered out awkwardly.

"I'm reading....Caspian recommended me the book" The girl said slowly, testing the waters. The silence from Peter was deafening.
"Peter? You ok buddy?" Nia put her book down and approached him. Suddenly Peter grabbed her arm and dragged her down the hallways.
"Peter what the fuck are you doing?" Nia whisper yelled as the king dragged her through the many hallways. Pulling her behind a wall just outside the door, the boy raised his finger to his lips.
    "Peter what the fuck man?"
"Shut up" They fell silent, Peter listening intently.

"Do you have a plan to take out Peter?" They heard Caspian ask, "Of course I have a plan! That's why we came here." Miraz, Caspians uncle replied.
Nia's mouth fell open in shock as she turned to face Peter. They both remained silent as they eavesdropped on their visitors.
"I'm going to win the king over soon, I got his little warrior to like me too" The prince, said with a smug voice.
"That son of a bitch!" Nia whispered scowling, before being shushed by Peter.
"Propose to queen Susan in the coming weeks, after that its just a simple matter of poisoning the king and we'll be set for life."
Miraz continued, "Now is not the time to go soft Caspian, remember our goal"
Peter and Nia heard movement, "oh my god they're coming!" panicking, Nia turned to Peter.
    "Ok ok just hide"
"Hide where? It's a fucking hallway!"
"Just shut up!" Peter whispered, as the two started to freak out.

Nia turned to check how far away Caspian and his uncle were, "Sorry about this." Before the king had a chance to ask what she was doing, the girl grabbed Peter by the collar bringing him down to meet her lips. After a moment of shock passed, Peter eased up and started to move his lips against hers. Forgetting about their situation, Nia's hand made his way to the nape of his neck as her other one lay flat on his chest. Hesitantly Peter rested his hands on her hips, guiding her to the closest wall.
The sound of a throat clearing snapped the two apart. Miraz and Caspian stood in front of them, "Sorry to disrupt your er- escapades," Caspian mumbled.
"Yea no, we were just- uhm" Peter gestured between him and Nia awkwardly.
"Yea ok so.....We're gunna go" The girl ended the whole situation quickly, grabbing Peter's hand and speed walked away.

"What was that!" Peter exclaimed as they got back to his room.
"What was I supposed to do, they were going to catch us"
"A heads up would've been nice" Peter sighed,
"That's what you're focusing on?! They fully said they were planning to kill you and you're hung up on a kiss?"
Peter stood there not knowing what to say, Nia sighed sitting on his bed for a moment before dropping down on her back.

    "Guess you were right,"
