"Look Su there it is!" Lucy squealed as she ran towards the glittering pool.
"Woah" Susan gasped, staring awestruck at the scenery before her. The rocks laid out a floral pattern atop the crystal clear water. At the head of the pond lay a large pink water lilly that sparkled like a gem. As the two wandered through the water on the stone pathways, they say glowing koi and turtles below them.
"This place is as beautiful as they say" Susan whispered as she gently brushed the surrounding plants with her fingertips.
"Susan look!" Lucy stood by the large water lilly, the petals so large they looked over the small girl.
"I think we'll only need one" muttered Lucy, "It's so beautiful I don't want to ruin it" she said gently pulling on a petal.
Susan bent down and cuts smaller petal from the base of the plant, "here this small one won't disrupt the plant at all" She smiled handing it to her younger sister.
The two set up camp by the edge of the pond and spent the day playing with the creatures nearby who were drawn to the tranquillity of the pond.
"We really got off easy with this side quest" Susan sighed contently.
"I want to feel bad because the others are most definitely are struggling, but this is so nice I really don't care" Lucy laughed a little.
"What time should we start heading back" Lucy continued as the two sisters lay basking in the light of the sunset.
"We don't have to leave so soon, the others are probably going to take more time to get their items" Susan replied eyes still closed.
"This is really nice," Lucy commented, Susan hummed in reply. "I can't help to wonder what the others are going through though"
"Probably still walking or fighting or something" Susan waved off as she drifted to sleep.
Lucy turned back to face the pond, gazing at the giant flower that reflected the sunlight like tiny golden specks.
"I hope the others are safe and doing ok" she muttered and closed her eyes.
"I'm sure they're fine" Susan reassured her sister.
