"Enne!" the girls ran up and hugged each other, then hugged their brother.
"Nia and Peter aren't back yet?" Enne asked looking around.
"No they'll probably take a day or two more, we can just wait for them here" Susan responded, "I sent word back to the kingdom about what's going on and we have news that the Telmarines are weeks away so we have a fair amount of time"
The four set up camp and sat around by the waterfall, quickly getting bored of waiting, Ed laid down near the edge of the waterfall.
"How long do we wait before we can leave?" he asked
"Edmund!" Lucy yelled hitting him, "We're not leaving until they're back"
"I'm just saying if they're taking too long we can't just sit here and waste time"
"Honestly Edmund, it hasn't even been a full day yet" Susan scolded, "Go be useful and catch some fish for dinner"

Time went by too slowly, everyone grew anxious, expecting the remaining two to appear out of the woods, arguing like they always do. But they never showed up. The group tried to keep their spirits up by playing games and hunting and fishing, anything to keep their minds off worrying. They'd play tag, freeze tag and marco polo, and even taught themselves how to make shitty fishing rods out of pure boredom.

Two days had gone by and there was still no sign of Peter and Nia. Tensions in the four friends grew thicker and thicker with worry for the missing pair. No one wanted to say what they were all thinking so it remained quiet most of the day.

"We need to go get those scrolls, maybe Peter and Nia will show up when we get back" Edmund suggested
"We can't just leave them" Lucy argued
"We're not leaving them, we're just doing more productive things while waiting for them until they get back"
"What if something happened to them" Enne chimed in, Nia and Enne had never been separated in another universe for this long before. Ed pulled Enne in for a hug to comfort her.
"Knowing those two they're probably just arguing about which direction to go and got into a fist fight" Ed tried to make a joke but everyone was too on edge to find it funny.
"Edmunds right, we can't just sit around and waste time, we'll head towards the tombs and by then Peter and Nia should find their way here and meet up with us at the tombs." Susan said, she turned to Enne, "I'm sure they just got sidetracked or something"
    "They're probably fucking"
"Jesus Edmund!" Susan groaned, earning a laugh from the group. With their hopes restored they four remaining group members headed out towards the tombs, leaving behind a note and a copy of the map.

    "Peter?"

A quiet strained voice could be heard breaking the silence of the dark cave.
