I gasped and Noah shot up. I quickly got up too and looked a him. "Get under my bed." he whispered. I nodded and slid under. There wasn't anything under there except for a scrapbook. I heard the door open and stopped breathing. "Noah? Oh just wondering if you were home. You're on your transforming night aren't you?" I heard Denise's voice and relaxed. "Oh, yeah. Im going to go to sleep early." he replied. "Okay, I'll be downstairs, night." she said and left, Noah locking the door behind her. After a few
seconds I slid out, Noah looking at me. I laughed and he helped me up, a smirk on his face. "let's get out of here. I'll show you my powers." he held out his hand. "You just told her you'd be going to sleep..." I replied. "There's a winnow." he said and I rolled my eyes. He bent over. "Get on." he ordered and I clasped onto his back. "Do you trust me?" he whispered. "Yes." I whispered and he opened the window, the frosty air coming in. He jumped from the window, landing swiftly on the ground. He let me down and I looked at him, amazed. "Your like a monkey." I laughed.
he walked over to his mustang and grabbed underneath it. There was no way! I watched with amusement as his muscles started to ripple as the car lifted out of the air. I covered a hand over my mouth, to hide my yell. "Oh my gosh!" I whispered and he looked at me, his blue eyes piercing through the darkness. "Come on." he took my hand and ran, I flew along next to him, my feet not touching the ground. We flew past the forest, it was exhilarating. "Is this real?" after he had ran a few miles and let me down. "Yes, it's real." he spoke, his shirt was still off. "Aren't you cold?" I asked, walking towards him, touching his chest. He looked down at me and wrapped his hands around my waist. "You're the one who should be cold." he sighed. "I'm not." I shook my head, though I was sure goosebumps were forming on my skin. He tucked a piece l of my hair behind my hair. Our lips touched again. I don't think I could ever get enough of that. But he stopped, his lips slowly leaving mine. He looked at me, intensely. "What?" I asked, feeling frustrated. "Someones coming." he looked around. I shivered, holding onto his arm. "Who?" I asked, my lips trembling. "Shh." he whispered. An eerie quietness fell over the forest. Suddenly, a Dark figure appeared from the mist. I stood next to Noah, squeezing his arm tighter. "Jason." Noah grumbled darkly. "Jason..?!" I mumbled and saw him appear, his hair black and eyes blue. "Why are you here?" Noah growled. Jason smirked, looking evil. "I never would have guessed. Noah the loser with Anna." he leaned against a tree. Noah stood in front of me, protecting me. "You need to leave." Noah hissed, walking up to Jason, his face in his. "Woah, calm down loverboy. Last time I checked night riders arent allowed to date humans." he spoke, a wide grin on his face. "Like you don't." Noah scoffed. "Noah, Noah, Noah. Dont you remember who my father is? King of the night riders. I can do whatever I want. You however.." he laughed raising an eyebrow and then looked at me. "Not that you have bad taste.." he scanned me, making me shudder. "Leave her out of this." Noa warned. "I hope you like disappointment then." he pushed past Noah and towards me. Noah grabbed him, throwing him up in the air, sending him flying and landing near a tree. Jason got up quickly, looking furious. He ran towards Noah and they fought. Noah was the clear stronger one but Jason kept up the fight. Soon, Jason was on the ground and struggled to get up. He got up, shaking. "My father. I'm letting him know. You and you're girlfriend should be very worried." he said and left. Noah winced in pain and I noticed his chest had a gash in it. He was holding it. We went back to his room and he sat down on the bed. I needed to get some paper towels and ice. "I'm going to the kitchen. You stay here." I said. "No, I'm fine. Denise can't see you anyways." he replied. I already reached for the handle and left before he could stop me. I walked quietly through the hallway and down the stairs, spotting Denise sitting in the living room, watching television. Suddenly, she got up. I quickly hopped up the stairs and hid up in the hallway. I heard her in the kitchen and watched her sit back on the living room couch. I proceeded down the stairs again and went into the kitchen. I grabbed the ice tray and the paper towel roll, heading upstairs. I reached his room and got in. He looked up at me. "You didn't have to get that." he sighed. "Shut up." I said, walking over to him. He stood up and I cleaned it out, wiping away the blood and rubbing ice over it. "Anna." he put his hand on my cheek. "I never should have liked you. I got us into this mess. We have to run." he said. "Run?" I asked, thinking about my dad. What would I tell him? I took his hand down and backed up. "We have to. Jason's dad is King Fredrick. Jason will tell him and he will send people after us." Noah said. "Im not leaving my dad, especially after the heart attack." I stated. "You have too Annabelle. Do you want him to die too?" he asked. I thought for a moment. He was right. "Where will we run?" I asked. "We'll have to move as far as possible." he replied. "I understand the pain you feel. But it's the only thing we can do." Noah came closer. "How long will we have to run?" I sighed. "Any allegations against a night rider only last six months unless murder." Noah replied. "Six months." I sighed. "Can I at least stay until Christmas." I hoped. He shook his head. "We have to go. Tonight." he replied.
Now, I had to think of something to tell my dad. We arrived at my house, Noah told me to be quick. I walked up the steps, shaking. I looked up at the house and remembered the day I first moved here. It seemed so long ago, yet it had been around a week. I walked in. "Hey honey! where've you been?" my dad asked eating dinner. I tried to hold back tears. "Dad-I'm leaving to California to live with my uncle." I replied. His expression changed and he looked hurt almost. "Why? I'm doing the best I can here. Please." he looked sad. I wanted to burst into tears. I'm going now. It's only for six months then I'll move back here. I just need more time to recover." I said and walked up to him. "I love you dad." I hugged him. "Love you." he said, looking confused. "At least call?" he asked, a crack in his voice. "Of course. Bye dad." I said and quickly left. Tears streamed down my face as I got into the mustang and Noah drove. Now, we had to hide.
