**Did u like my new romance, Not Broken

so far??**

Minutes remained and I felt a fish on my line. I started reeling, like I did before. The pressure grew when my dad realized what was happening. He cheered me on, in a final effort of hope. I couldn't see the fish through the choppy dark water, but it felt decent sized. I stood, and then the fish jumped from the water, my line pulling it in. "Holy crap! That's a Black Sea Bass!" my dad hurried to the edge of the boat.

I smiled. I had never seen him so excited before. Dad helped me put it the the tub of water. "Shouldnt we weigh it?" I asked, looking at it. It was black, with many fins and small white spots on it. "We do that on shore." he said, smiling and not one minute later tue horn sounded and we were rounded back to shore. We all met, and started weighing one by one. Ours looked the biggest, and I could see the fisherman eyeing our tub that held the fish. Noah was on the other side, talking to a friend.

He caught my eye and waved. I just laughed and he raised an eyebrow. "Fred Sage." an old, retired fisherman called. "Hey Joe!" my dad greeted him. "That's a beauty." he said and I took a step closer. "Who caught it?" he asked. "Anna did."

I could hear the whispers surrounding. The grown men hadn't expected a naive teenager to catch the biggest fish. I just laughed to myself. "Twenty seven pounds!" he yelled and applause roared. We outweighed the heaviest my four so far. All that was left was Noah. He had caught the same type or fish. I admitted it looked longer, but not as bulky.

Here it was, the moment of truth. I never thought in a million years, that'd I be excited about fishing. That'd I be laughing with my dad and getting along.

I guess things change. "Twenty..five pounds!" everyone cheered, and patted me and dad on the back. Within ten minutes, we had released the fish and broken up. Some men resumed fishing, determined to beat the record, and some drove off. I let my dad leave with a couple of his friends to celebrate and talk about whatever fishermen talked about. Noah was talking with some guys and I smiled, and walked away to sit on a bench that overlooked the water. I had not been this happy in a while. It had always been something. I felt an unusually warm breeze that made me shiver with delight. "Is that you mom?" I whispered. I held my locket to the palms of my fingers and rubbed it. "I love you." I closed my eyes.

I must gave dozed off, I woke up to Noah shaking me. "Hey sleepyhead." he looked at me. "I won." I rubbed in his face. He sighed. "Well, I guess sometimes you just get lucky." I punched his arm. "That was purely skill." he nodded sarcastically. "Anna the fisherman." has a ring to it." he shrugged. "No, I'll leave that job for my dad." I laughed. The sun was lowering in the sky and few pails lingered.

"Come on." he stood up and held out his hand. I took it and followed him the dock, secluded from the rest. "Why'd you take me all the way out here?" I giggled. "So, that I can do this." he scooped me up. I wrapped my legs around him and placed my hands behind his bare neck, and smiled. He twirled me around and stopped, then kissing me passionately. Never had I thought two people could fall for so intensely and quickly before. It was amazing. This was life. I was living my life.

I dug my fingers into his hair and he hoisted me up further, holding me with his strong hands. I loved his strength. He stopped and we looked at each other. A smirk appeared on his face. "Noah.." I raised the tone in my voice. I knew he something was up. "Oh nothing." he walked me out further until we were at waters edge. Instantly, he threw me off the dock. I screamed, landing in the water. I could barely touch. "Ugh I hate you!" I shivered from the cold that consumed me. He took his shirt off. Never mind. I couldn't hate that. He stood there, a looked at me. "What?" I laughed. "You chicken?" He took a few steps back. "Better move." he yelled and jumped in a canon ball. I could hear him hit the bottom. Ouch. "What would you rate that?" he asked when he resurfaced.

I walked over to him on my tippy toes, to keep me head above water. The water came to his upper chest. He picked me up. "Hmm, a 6.5" I nodded. "That's it? Come on!" he shook his head in disappointment. "You look good wet." I blurted. I felt my face turning red. He laughed and held me closer against his chest. "So do you." our moist lips touched.

We spent that night splashing each other with water and exchanging kisses. It was now night, and the moon shone brightly. Noah had transformed into a night rider. We went to his house through the window and changed into dry clothes. He gave me his smallest shirt to wear, a plain dark green long sleeve and stole a pair of pants from Denise. He put on denim pants and a red flannel shirt. "Let's go for a walk." he said and we went into the woods. "What if we get seen?" I asked.

He sighed. "Listen, there's something I should tell you." he stopped. "What is it?" I asked. "I spoke with a few night riders last night. We came to an agreement. They promised to keep you safe if you promise not to tell anyone. If you do- I'll get killed." he said. "I won't. I promise." I said quickly.

"I knew that's what you were going to say." he smiled and she jumped up into a tree, carrying me. I leaned my head against his shoulder. "I'll never tell."
