The men inside the van discussed their plans as I was restrained, a rope connected to the seat. Comfortable?" one of them asked and I just looked the other way. We were driving into the city of Miami. It was a beautiful day today. The sun was out and I watched as people headed to the beach, excited. I looked around and saw no point of escaping now. We approached the inner city and into a parking garage. I was quickly reminded of Christmas day and his kiss. The van came to a halt, interrupting my thoughts. I caught a glance out the window and saw three men standing, all in business suits and all carrying brief cases i assumed contained money. I was pushed out onto the cold concrete. "Gentlemen." Sylvester threw his hands up and gave a snarky smile to them, revealing his cliche gold tooth.

"Our favorite sellers." The tallest of them crossed his arms. I could tell there was some type of grudge between the two groups, though they still did business with each other. "And who is this? You've never brought her before." the man with balding hair and glasses looked at me with suspicion. "She's with us." Zayne jumped in. "How can we be sure she's not a cop?" the bald man laughed. "Does she look like a cop? Besides fellas, why would we bring the police near our business?" Sylvester laughed in response. The three looked more convinced. "You bring all of it?" Sylvester asked eyeing the black briefcases. "Yeah, all one million." the third man who was considerably ordinary looking stepped forward and opened the case, revealing fifty dollar wads. "Tony, check them." Sylvester instructed the man who had three teeth. Tony grabbed all three suitcases and started to count. "And the mint?" The bald man asked, referring to the drugs. "All in here." Zayne held a black duffel bag. "Bring it here." the tall man grabbed it and checked inside. After the transaction was made, we got into the van and sped off, into the city to the next clients.

My disgust for these men grew more each second I was with them. All day was full of meeting people and trading. I was severely shocked to find how many people actually bought from these guys, making my stomach churn. What kind of people would buy from these sick bastards? Night had fallen and all of the men in the van transformed into night riders, their hair turning black and eyes turning blue. Something about their transformation was different than Noah's. Noah transformed in a beautiful, composed way. These men changed in a demeaning way that haunted me. They seemed to be transforming into monsters.

I tried to remain strong, knowing Noah would come. But my hopes were starting to fade, for it had been three weeks since my capture. I was assigned to weighing the drugs. It was actually very easy, but I found it hard because of my unwillingness. I grew lonely, sitting in my cell for hours on end, staring at the wall in hope of my knight in shining armor. It was almost pathetic, to dream of that. Those things only happened in the movies, and I was doubting if I'd ever see Noah's face again. The thoughts of my mother came back, putting me into restless nights of unrest and despair. I wondered what my dad thought of me, which only added to my depression.

Another week went by and it was now a month. The light at the end of the tunnel was gone, and I had to accept my fate. "Wake up." I heard Sylvester's scratchy voice yelling in my ear. It was another mid night deal, and I was to come along for the ride. We arrived behind an abandoned gas station. A woman and a man stood there, with guns and the black brief case. I watched as they made the deal. Suddenly, something caught my attention. I noticed something white flash on the gas station roof. My eyes flickered there and I saw it was a

person. I gasped and realized everyone was watching me. "What's the problem?" Sylvester asked, clearly annoyed. "Oh nothing." I mumbled. He looked around slowly and then went back into talking. I looked up again and saw the person was gone. Maybe I was imagining things. I shook myself and tried to keep my eyes from shutting. I was extremely tired.

I saw it again. Okay, I wasn't imagining it this time. The person had moved to behind the oak tree. I kept my attention focused on the tree. The figure was coming closer. As soon as it stepped into the moonlight I jumped. It was Noah.
