Uncontrollable (Katsuki Bakugo x Reader)

You stood on the stage, face to face with Todoroki as the crowd shook the stadium with applause and cheers.

"Are you both ready?" Midnight questioned, looking between the two of you as she raised her whip into the air.

You each nodded, not taking your eyes off each other as the sound of Midnights whip snapping rung through the air.

"BEGIN!"

You let out the breath you didn't even realize you were holding, watching Todoroki's moves intently as he began his attack.

He placed his right foot on the ground, shooting a jagged arm of ice towards you, the crackling sound of the frozen liquid zipping through the air. You brought your arms up in a cross form, quickly jutting them down to hip height. From there, you pivoted your right foot back, bringing your arm with it and concentrating all of the energy in your body in your clenched fist. With one swift punch, you lurched forwards, the heat of the flames roaring from your fist dousing your body in a gentle sweat.

You gritted your teeth as you were pushed back slightly, watching the jagged ridge of ice slowly melt before you. Once you were sure Todoroki had stopped his attack, you allowed your flames to cool, setting your hands too rest.

Too your delight, you were now surrounded by a huge puddle of water, one that would be extremely useful. You leaned forwards and dipped your finger tips in the water, using one foot too push yourself in a circle as you collected the water up your arms. The water draped over your shoulders, coating your arms in a protective layer as you turned to look at Todoroki.

"What's the matter? Never seen someone use your ice against you?" you asked, punching your left arm forwards and launching the water tentacle at his head. Your blood felt thin as it coursed through your veins, flowing just like the water you had control of.

"I have to say it's a first, but I won't let that stop me," he declared, dodging your blow. You narrowed your eyes at him, watching as he sent another icy blast towards you, one that you quickly averted. You used the water tentacles like crutches, leaping high into the air and tucking your knees to your chest as you spun back down.

Once you had regained control of the water, you opened your arms and legs, reeling your right fist back and freezing the water surrounding your fist. You threw a punch at his head, being blocked when he threw his arms up in defence, creating a shield of ice which cracked beneath your blow.

He was good at evading your attacks, his natural movements combined with his quirks defensive capabilities making it difficult for you to get a touch on him. Perhaps he had already predicted what you were trying to do.

"Stop dodging my attacks damn it," you whined, using the hardened piece of ice at the end of the tentacle to catch yourself when you landed.

"I think I'll pass. Why don't you try dodging this?" he exclaimed in a dead tone, sending his third blast of ice your way. You groaned and boosted yourself in the air once again, this time landing on the ice and using it as a ramp too slide towards Todoroki.

"Use your fire god damn it! The ice is getting old!" you scolded, aiming both tentacles of water at him by punching your arms outwards. He dodged the attack, jumping too the side and sliding along the ground.

"I don't normally use my fire in battle. Midoriya was a special case," he murmured, steadying himself as you landed on the ground a couple of feet away from him.
