"Okay, this is the spot the tracker is broadcasting from," Momo whispered as she led the group around a darkened street. After watching the first bit of the press conference, and hearing what the public had to say, it became too overwhelming for the six of you, so you made the decision too go off and find Bakugo while the world was distracted by UA's supposed failure.
"So that's their hide out? Not a bad one I guess," Kirishima grumbled, eyeing the building Momo was pointing at skeptically.
It was made entirely of concrete, with only a couple of small windows barricaded by iron bars. It was entirely dark both inside and out, surrounded by a thick, concrete wall.
"Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. According to the tracking history, the villain hasn't left this location for the past day, but that's all we know. One villain is hiding here, but that could be it. They might have Bakugo somewhere else. We're going into this rescue completely blind for the most part, please try to proceed logically," Momo requested, carefully reviewing the information she had on the tracking device.
"I don't like this. None of us are good at sneaking around. We need Hagakure, or Jirou here. If I think things are gonna get the least bit out of hand I'm calling this off. I won't hesitate to call the police either. I need to make sure you're all safe," Iida reminded us, narrowing his eyes as you rested your hand on his shoulder.
"Excuse me, but I happen to be an expert at sneaking around. Back on the island, I use to creep around all the time when my parents weren't home. It's actually a pretty good past time," you giggled, looking up at the building. "It looks like there are some windows along the side. If we head around back, we should be able to squeeze past the fence and get a better look inside. Plus we won't be spotted by any by standers."
"That could work. If we can get a good feel for how the buildings laid out, and who may be inside, we should be able to figure out a way to rescue Kacchan without getting into too much trouble," Midoriya nodded in agreement, placing his hand under his chin in thought.
"Indeed. However, we shouldn't just sneak around. We should be cautious and wait to see if anyone moves inside. We don't want to attract any attention to ourselves," Yaoyorozu added, slowly starting to walk down the street that the warehouse was on.
"If they're trying to keep this place a secret, I doubt they'll send anyone in or out, but it's a good idea to scope out the area," Shoto nodded, shoving his hands into his pockets and turning his face away from a couple of pedestrians.
The building was completely dark, as silent as a feather falling to the floor. It was eerie too, like a hollow ghost of a warehouse.
"Doesn't look like anyone's home," you mumbled, stopping in front of a near by vending machine that was lighting up the area around it.
"Not a single light is on either," Kirishima added, taking a quick glance at the building as Deku pretended to take something from the machine.
"They're hiding this lair in plain sight. It just looks like any other abandoned warehouse," Shoto sighed as you and Midoriya turned to investigate the building more closely.
"The weeds under the door are undisturbed, there must be another way to get in. Or maybe someone's quirk is hiding it," Midoriya thought out loud.
"Hmm, maybe the entrance is aro-"
"Heyyy darlings, you looking for a real man? Ditch these losers and come drink with us," a gross, sweaty, bald man slurred as he reached an arm out towards you and Momo, interrupting you mid sentence.
