Uncontrollable (Katsuki Bakugo x Reader)

The first day of the internship had gone well. After youe left your things in the hotel rooms, you'd gone out on a night time patrol. Although you were unable to find any traces of the Hero Killer so far, you ended up breaking up a small street fight in front of a shopping plaza. After that, you returned to the hotel, and slept through most of the morning.

You then spent the afternoon training with Endeavour, learning how to use your fire in both long range and close up attacks. You could tell Todoroki was still a bit uncomfortable using that side of his quirk, but aside from that, he was doing well.

You were now changed back into your hero costumes, out on a second night time patrol. Endeavour was leading you down a fairly busy street, talking about a possible sighting of the Hero Killer in the area. However, you couldn't help but feel something was off.

This area was incredibly busy, with many pedestrians and popular shopping centres. It wouldn't make any sense for someone as elusive as the Hero Killer to appear here, but Endeavour seemed to have an idea of where to go.

You were walking down a boulevard in front of a movie theatre when a loud explosion erupted through the air. You looked around frantically, spotting a billowing cloud of smoke rising into the air, accompanied by a pool of bright red flames. The Hero Killer? No. He was never this flashy. It had to be something else...but what? Or who?

"Shoto! Aether! There's trouble ahead! I'll show you both what it takes to be a hero!" Endeavour exclaimed as he took off towards the action with you and Todoroki following closely behind.

People immediately began running away from the scene, various buildings crashing down and hitting you with strong gusts of wind and dust. You could hear what sounded like a roar, and you couldn't help but get a horrible feeling in your stomach. Was this...the League of Villains?

There was no way you could know for sure, but this kind of attack was their specialty.

"Y/N! Hang on!" Todoroki exclaimed suddenly, pausing in his tracks and holding out his phone. You felt your own cell buzz in your pocket, and you immediately pulled it out, seeing that Midoriya had sent you nothing but his location. He was in a back alleyway not far from where you and Todoroki were, only a couple minutes away.

"Something must be wrong! Let's go!" you exclaimed, shoving your phone back into your pocket and taking off towards the location.

"Hey! Wait! Where are you two going?" Endeavour screamed, reaching a hand out to try and stop you.

"An alleyway at 4210 Echo street. If you finish early, or see extra pros, send them our way! We're leaving you here to deal with this attack," Todoroki yelled, not bothering to stop or turn to face his father as you ran.

"I'm sorry Endeavour! This is important!" you yelled, waving him off as you rounded a corner, disappearing from his sight. You felt bad for running off like that, but when people send their locations, it often means they're in danger. You didn't have a choice.

"Todoroki! I'll survey from the air! You stay down here and check the alleyways!" you instructed, pausing for a moment so you could regain your focus and blast into the air.

"Right. If you see anything, let me know," he nodded in agreement as you carefully manoeuvred around, controlling the air currents so they supported your body and sent you flying around.
