You'd flown home with your parents the day after. You'd officially been on the island for three days now, running around and catching up with your friends during this time. It felt refreshing to be home, knowing you were safe from anything that had to do with the League, or All For One, or your complicated quirk.
You were currently inside your home on I-island, lounging about on the large, semi circle couch in the living room. Today was the day before the I-island expo would start up, so the island was overrun with tourists and heros, making it hard to get around.
You were wearing a baggy pair of basketball shorts, white crew socks and a dark, purple hoodie. Your hair fell over the seat of the couch as you laid upside down, allowing the blood to rush to your brain out of boredom.
"Child! Are you in here?" your mother called as she came around the corner, letting out a sigh when she spotted you. "Are you alive?"
"I haven't decided yet," you giggled, sitting up and allowing your face to return to its normal colour.
"We'll make up your mind. Your father and I have to go down to the expo to set up, and your coming with us. Go get your hero costume and meet us in the front hall in ten!" she exclaimed, not even giving you time to question or argue the events before she darted out of the combined living room and kitchen, back down the hallway.
You let out a loud groan, standing up and walking around the couch towards the massive windows which surrounded your apartment.
You lived in one of the main buildings near I-Island academy. Your apartment was about three quarters of the way up, giving you an excellent view of the festival. You could see various fair rides and stands, exhibits and presentations taking place below. The island's population almost doubled during the expo, so you usually stayed inside during that time. However, since this year you were training to become a hero, you'd been asked to wander around for a couple of days. To you, it felt like you were being used as a walking exhibit.
You sighed and turned around to face your home in which you grew up. In the back, left corner of the massive room was a large, white door. It was connected to a long entry which split off into the combined kitchen and living room. The kitchen was at the back of the room, with a large, steel fridge and white, marble countertops. It had brightly coloured lights hanging from the ceiling, with a matching white island below. A small hall on the right wall sort of divided the room in half, extending towards the bedrooms and offices. In the living room portion was a large, white bookshelf pushed against the left wall connected to a large desk. Between that, and the large, semi circle couch was a brightly coloured floor mat with many intricate designs. The couch was pushed against an elevated platform with a small staircase leading up it, supporting a large case holding many awards and trophies.
These were all won by your parents at various awards shows and competitions for their marvellous inventions or designs, which sometimes seemed to take over the house. Almost everywhere you looked there were complicated machines which did things for you, or other small gadgets that were still be manufactured at that time.
Making your way down the hall and to your bedroom, which faced the window side of your apartment, you grabbed your costume case from your closet and set it on your floating bed.
