Ellowyn's POV-
As soon as we got to the mall, we agreed to split up and find our outfits and then meet up later for an early dinner before we would head back to the dorms. Mina is already dragging me along with her before I can even think of where to start first. Fashion has never really been my thing. It's not that I don't like wearing nice clothes, it's just that I've never had very good style. Mina, on the other hand, always seems confident in her style. She's extra, in the best way. Within a few minutes, Mina has me come with her into a store. "So, what kind of outfit do you want to get?"

   "I'm not sure."

She nods understandingly. "Okay, why don't we find my outfit first? Maybe you'll find some inspiration while we do that."

"Okay, that sounds like a good plan."

...

Mina shows me a striped button-up and a purple blouse. "Which is better?"

I think for a moment. "The button-up is better if you decide to wear the blazer and the blouse is better if you decide not to wear it."

"Well, this is a formal event. I guess I'll wear the blazer, so I'll get the button-up." She smiles, content with her choice. "Now, do you have any ideas about what you want to wear?"

I frown. "I'm still not really sure. Sorry."

"No, it's okay. We can just look around for a while."

"Okay." For a few minutes, we look through suits and dresses with nothing really catching my eye until I find a white, sleeveless dress. The skirt is relatively high-waisted with two slits up to mid-thigh at each side and the top has a v-neck and simple lace design.

Mina comes up and pulls the dress off the rack. "Do you like this one?"

"Yeah, but I don't really think it will look good on me."

"No way! This is going to look great on you! Go try it on!" I take the dress from her with a small smile. I guess it won't hurt to at least try it on. I go into the dressing room and put on the dress. Surprisingly, it fits very well. Usually dresses that I actually like are too big or long on me. I step out of the dressing room to be greeted by Mina squealing ecstatically. "You look so good!"

"Are you sure it's not too simple? The dance is supposed to be formal and fancy and stuff, right?"

She quickly shakes her head. "No, no, no, no, no. It's absolutely perfect. You look elegant."

I feel my face go red at the pure compliment from my sweet friend. "Thanks, Mina. If you say so, I'll wear it."

She smiles brightly. "Totally! Now, let's find some shoes to go with your dress."

...

Bakugou's POV-
I feel my phone vibrate and look down to see a message.

Pink Face; Ellowyn is wearing white, btw.

   Me; Why would I care?

Pink Face; bc you want to wear something that has at least a little bit of white so that you match. you're welcome hoe

I'm about to text her back and call her an idiot but I'm interrupted by Shitty Hair coming out of the aisle with two ties. "Which one?" He asks.

I sigh and look at the choices; red and grey. "Red." Hair-for-Brains decided on his outfit not long ago so now we're trying to figure out what I should wear. "Also, maybe a white shirt. Mina says I should wear white to match Cherry."

"Okay, so you're wearing a black suit with a white button-up and a red tie." He chuckles. "Wow, that was pretty easy. You're basic bro."

I scoff. "Whatever. It's a good thing it didn't take long since we spent so fucking long figuring out you're outfit and we have to meet up with all the extras to eat soon."

He shrugs. "My style is my art, and art takes time, man."

I roll my eyes. "Whatever, you idiot. Let's just go eat."

We head downstairs to meet up with everyone else at the restaurant we chose earlier to see that everyone else has already gotten there. "Hey!" Shitty Hair says as we join them at the table.

Ellowyn seems to be in a better mood than usual as she says, "Hi!"

"Took you two long enough to show up." Sparky comments jokingly.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let's just fucking eat already."
