Dancing Shadows

Chapter Thirty-One

Ellowyn's POV-
   Bakugou and I decide to eat at a cafe not too far from campus and after a nice lunch and some time walking around at the park, we head back so I can meet Mina in her room while Bakugou is pulled away by Kirishima.

   About an hour later, Mina has dressed up not only herself but also Uraraka, Yaoyoruza, Jirou, and I. She dressed me in an oversized black crop top hoodie and a light blue pleated skirt with black thigh-highs and black converse sneakers. She had me braid my hair and gave me tiny blue flower clips to put in it while she put some blue eyeshadow and black liner on my eyes, black mascara on my lashes, and black lipstick on my lips. While I was hesitant about the look at first, Mina assured me it would look great and she was right. I look very different, but not in a bad way.

   We head downstairs to see Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero, and Bakugou playing Minecraft. Even though he's only wearing ripped black jeans and a white t-shirt, I feel my soul leave me body. The way he furrows his brow and bites his lip as he focuses is enough to leave me breathless. I sit down on the couch next to him. He looks away from the game and towards me. His eyes widen as he quietly says, "Cherry, you look incredible."

   I smile as I reply, "All Mina's doing. And I was just about to say the same thing to you, Baku."

   "Shitty Hair picked it out. Actually, I was wondering when you were finally going to get down here. I've been third-wheeling with Tape Arms for an hour."

   I laugh at that as more of our class mates file down the stairs. Fifteen minutes later, everyone is in the living room and we all start heading out the door. We decide to take the train together and twenty minutes later we are at Yaoyorozu's house.

   For the first few hours we watch a movie, but we all get a bit bored by about nine o'clock. This sends Mina on a mission to 'spice things up' and twenty minutes later she comes back with vodka and the suggestion to play a drinking game, despite Iida's protests.

   "Fuck that." Bakugou replies. "That idea is stupid as fuck."

   Mina rolls her eyes and turns to me. "Ellowyn? You in?"

   I know it's a bad idea, but... "Sure."

Bakugou's POV-
   To my surprise, Cherry joins Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima, Uraraka, Midoriya and Todoroki on the floor while the rest of us remain on the couch.

   After a bit of discussion, they settle on a game of truth or dare or drink. Whoever doesn't tap out wins.

   It starts off innocently enough with dares such as drinking hot sauce or prank calling. But when no one is drinking, things begin to pick up. Pink Cheeks is dared to kiss Froggy, Pikachu is asked if him and Shitty Hair have kissed yet, Icyhot is dared to take off his shirt, and then it's Cherry's turn again.

   "Ellowyn, truth or dare?" Mina asks.

   "Truth."

   She thinks for a moment before asking, "Are you a virgin?"

   Cherry chokes on and spits out the water she was drinking. "Excuse me?"

   "Have you ever had sex? Answer the question or drink."

   She freezes. The question clearly bothers her, so I'm not surprised when she sighs and says, "Hand me the bottle."

   Mina giggles as she passes it to her "Drink until Midoriya tells you to stop."

   Without hesitation, she takes off the lid, raises the bottle to her lips, and begins to drink. After a few seconds, Deku still hasn't told her to stop and I shout, "Deku, what the hell?"
