Ellowyn's POV-
The next day in english class we were made aware of a new project we have to complete by Friday. Obviously, none of us were very excited about that since we were all pretty overwhelmed already by the amount of homework we were doing, but there was a plus; we get to work with a partner. Unfortunately, there was a downside to that; our partners were assigned to us, meaning that we ended up with pairs like Bakugou and Todoroki and Iida and Aoyama. Luckily, I got partnered with someone I know pretty well; Kaminari. We decided that we were going to complete the project on Tuesday night, so now that school on Tuesday has ended, both Kaminari and I are rushing to the dorms.

As soon as we reach the dorms, I ask, "Where are we working on this? Your room or mine?

"Yours. My room is a complete mess." He says with a chuckle.

Once we get up to my room, we pull out our notes for the book we are reading right now. "So, Present Mic said that we have to provide a visual representation of the symbol we find most important in the book. What do you think it should be?"

I think for a moment. "Maybe we could make some sort of bird? The main character is always comparing themselves to a caged bird because they feel like they are trapped so that seems like the best option."

His eyes light up like he suddenly has come up with a great idea. "What if we make it out of foil? The character talks about how they used to make sculptures out of foil with their mother when she was alive so that could relate the bird to the freedom they felt when they were an innocent child. We should paint it blue too because they said that they used to make the sculptures out of blue foil they used to get with their favorite chocolate. Present Mic will probably like that since it shows 'attention to detail' or something like that."

"That's super smart! Let's do it! If you want, you can start making the parts of the bird while I write up our explanation of our project."

   "That sounds awesome!"

...

About an hour later I've finished writing up the explanation for our project and Kaminari has done a really good job of making the wings and the body of the foil bird. "Wow, that's actually really good Kaminari."

He proudly smiles at the compliment. "Thanks! You did a good job of writing the explanation. I'm going to go grab some paint so I'll be right back."

A few minutes later he comes back with the paint and we both paint the parts of the bird in about half an hour. We let them dry for half an hour while playing video games before painting on a second coat for another half hour before waiting for it to dry for half an hour again. Finally, we can start to think about how we are going to stick the pieces together. "Well, Elmer's glue obviously isn't going to be strong enough so it looks like we are going to have to use super glue to put it together."

He nods. "Okay, I'll go grab some real quick." He runs downstairs, and while he is downstairs grabbing the glue I lay down on my floor on my back since it's getting really late and I'm getting really tired. "Hey, don't fall asleep yet! We are so close to being done."

   I laugh. "I'm not, I'm not. I'm just resting."

He sits down about a foot away from me with a sarcastic laugh. "Sure. I'm going to glue this together and then wait for it to dry and then we are done. Stay up with me so I don't fall asleep."

With my eyes still closed, I nod. "Yeah, yeah."

I don't remember exactly when I fell asleep after that, I just remember that it was definitely before he was finished with our project.
