"This year we will have fall dance on november 1st for fourth to seventh year students" Professor Dumbledore announced "now off to bed everyone"

Excitement exploded in the great hall, everyone was talking in excitement about the ball. My friends and I stood up and walked out from the great hall. We walked through the cold corridors on our way to the dungeons.

As we walked in the corridors a bunch of seventh year girls came rushing by us talking in excitement. They were talking about dresses and dates.

We walked into our common room and took a seat on the couches by the open fire. I sat beside Draco on one of the couches and Blaise, Theodore and Daphne sat on the other couch in front of us. Blaise was sitting between Theodore and Daphne almost taking all the space.

Draco had his hand on my thigh.

"i'm going alone, I don't need a date because I'm going to get wasted as fuck" Blaise said " and when I say that I mean wasted as F U C K"

Suddenly Blaise decided to kick Theo in the face

"oh my god Blaise!" I said "why did you kick him in the face?"

"He said 'what are those' so I gave him a closer look" Blaise said and gave us all bitch face

"No the fuck I didn't" Theodore snapped at Blaise, who were sitting beside him pretending that nothing happened.

"I know, I just felt like kicking you.."

We all laughed and pretended like nothing happened.

"Guys- I need to tell you something.." Daphne said, looking down at her hands.. we all looked at her curiously showing her that we were listening. "eh- my sister Astoria is transferring from Beauxbatons to hogwarts next year"

"That's great!!" I said in excitement, I really wanted to meet her sister. She was probably as lovely as Daphne. I looked at the others, Daphne looked relief, Blaise didn't even listen, Theo were watching Daphne-

And Draco looked pale and tensed up?

I put my hand on Draco's hand who was at my thigh, he looked at me and he quickly calmed down.

"Belle can you come with me to my dorm?" Daphne asked, standing up on the way to her dorm, I nodded and stood up, following her. We walked into the dorm and she shut the door close. We went and sat on her bed.

"How are you and Draco?" Daphne asked me

How was Draco and I? We were getting along and we had shared a few moments together, but I'm not sure.

"I-I don't know" I said, I was truly confused.. Why was she asking me this? "why? Is something wrong?"

"no- I was just wondering" she quickly said and then changed the subject "do you want to go dress shopping on saturday?"

"Yes of course I want" I laughed "but what is the fall dance?"

"I don't know, it's the first time were having it" she said and then stopped "it's probably like the yule ball"

Daphne went to her drawer and took something.

A bottle of fire whiskey

She gave the bottle to me and I took a sip, it tasted fucking amazing. I felt my throat burn but I didn't care. She took a sip and coughed, we both laughed and started gossiping about boys and professors.
