__________

Draco and I walked hand in hand down a long street of Wiltshire. Beginning of April is beautiful and relaxing. As we walked down the street, fingers entwined, in each other's silence and taken in by the bird's beautiful chirping he spun me around making me let out a laugh as I then did the same to him.

We walked through the gates of the big manor and were greeted by the big, beautiful garden. Big bushes with flowers on. The long beautiful alleyway. The scent of spring.

The big doors to the manor opened, and out stepped a happy Narcissa Malfoy. "Draco, my sweetest baby boy!"

She brought him into a long embrace, wrapping her arms around her son's figure and squeezing him close to her body, "I've missed you so much,"

Draco wrapped his arms around his mother's body, and I could see a small smile appearing on his lips as he hid his face into her hair. "I've missed you too,"

She placed a kiss on his cheek, before she pulled away and smiled softly at him. "I'm so glad you're home,"

Narcissa turned to me, sending me a warm smile as she brought my body to hers, hugging me tightly. "Belle, oh my. You're so beautiful."

"Thank you, Narcissa," I embraced her back, smiling softly as I did so. She pulled away and with a happy face walked into the manor as we walked after her. A house elf came to take our bags and outer robes. I thanked him, sending him a faint smile and his eyes widened as he saw it. But he returned it, then disappeared.

"Your mother and father are here, dear." Narcissa said to me softly, looking at me with a smile.

My mother and father. How fun. They apparently haven't had the time to send me any letters, to tell me how they are or to ask me how I am. They haven't tried to communicate with me in any way.

"How lovely," I forced a smile, and walked after Narcissa with my arm in Draco's into the dining room.

They all sat at the big table. My mother. My father. And Lucius. They sat like rich purebloods. Dressed like it was a big fancy dinner. Like royals.

My father sent me a smile — a smile I never want to see again. A smile I haven't missed. "Isabella, I'm so glad to see you."

"Father, mother." I nodded with a forced smile.

Draco pulled out the chair for me to take, and I sat down in front of my parents as he took the seat beside me.

"You've grown up, I see." My father said, looking at me with a pinch of amusement in his face.

"I have," I responded, not really knowing what to say.

"You're beautiful, Isabella." My mother smiled warmly at me, reaching her hand over the table towards me but was stopped by my father who grabbed her hand harshly and shoved it back.

He sneered at her, "Not during dinner. It's not nice."

My blood boiled, I scrunched my nose up at my father before I turned to my mother. "Thank you, mother. You're beautiful as well."

She smiled, forgetting about my father as she looked at me with happiness in her face.

My father has always been the controlling one in the family. And the most manipulative. He's always made decisions for my mother, and never let her make any. My mother has never had a say in anything — just my father. He acted like the king of the family. Because in his eyes — the male in the family is stronger than the female. Which means that he gets to do whatever he wants. But not my mother, not me.
