He rested between my thighs as I read for him. Pride and Prejudice. Draco seems to like that book. But the only time he says it is when I am the one who's reading. And here we laid, on a blanket in the Astronomy tower. I rested my back against the wall, and he rested his body between my legs. Eyes shut, body relaxed and taken in by the atmosphere as I read for him.

"Draco how come you won't read the book, and refuse to do so. But make me read it for you?" I questioned, shutting the book close as I just finished another chapter.

He didn't say anything, there was just a peaceful silence before his fingers twitched. "Come on Draco, I know you're awake."

Slowly, his eyes opened and he looked up at me with a grin on his face. "I'm not so good at pretending, am I?"

"You're not." I joked playfully. I placed the book beside me on the blanket and started to play with his blond hair. Messing it up and tangling my fingers in it.

"But why though?" I said again after a moment of silence. "Is it that you can't read or something?"

He laughed, then smiled up at me with a wide smile on his face. "I can read, you know that, dummy."

I scrunched up my nose, before sucking on the inside of my cheek. "Fine."

I picked up the book again, and he closed his eyes. I read the next chapter. The stars were plastered everywhere on the beautiful night sky, small white shining dots. It was calming, I read for him as he rested against my body.

"I like your voice,"

I looked down at my legs, to see that he was looking up at me with his lower lip trapped between his teeth, "What did you say?"

"I like your voice," he repeated in a soft tone. "That's why I want you to read. Because your voice is like music to my ears. You sound like an angel. You sound almost like a siren. And that's so fucking calming."

"Well," I felt my cheeks heating up, shades of pink appearing in them. "I'm half Veela so maybe that's why."

"I know,"  he mumbled. "But you still sound like an angel. And I fucking love that. Y'know, you remind me of a goddess."

"I do?"

"Yeah," he propped himself up on one arm and shifted his positions so he faced me. "Is there a goddess of beauty?"

"Aphrodite."

"Try Belle instead," he laid himself between my legs again. "Belle. The goddess of beauty."

"You can't do that," I grinned, tangling my fingers into his hair again and brushing it with my fingers.

"Fine," he brushed his hand over my leg. "Belle means beauty."

"I'm aware,"

A smile curled up his lips, but he stayed quiet. So I once again picked up the book and read the rest of the chapter. It was calming. This. Peaceful. Laying here on a blanket in the astronomy tower under the stars while reading a book.

"You're beautiful,"

I leaned down and placed a kiss on his forehead, "So are you."

After hours of spending time in the astronomy tower reading we decided to make our way back to the dungeons. We walked hand in hand, fingers entwined, and took in the silence of nothing that echoed in the corridors.
