If Melody Was With Ranmaru

"Now speak what's on the paper only. Make another sound and I'll hurt you." The man in a mask points the knife at my side threatening to cut me if I disobeyed.

"Alright." I calm my nerves and dial Uncles office.

While the phone was ringing my kidnapper kept the knife near my body.

Its been 2 days since I was kidnapped. I tried talking to the man who only said that he wanted me for ransom money. In those past days I was fed and kept in a good condition. But that didn't erase my fear at all.

"U-Uncle... It's me." I steady my shaking voice.

"Melody?!?" I could hear him knock his chair back. "Where are you?!? Are you okay?!?" Despite being a crazy uncle I could tell he cares for me deeply.

"I'm fine." A tear escapes my eyes. The man points to the paper aggressively remembering why I was calling in the first place. "You have 3 days to prepare 10 mill-"

"Say no more! Let her go!" He shouts over the phone. "I'll bring the money!"

The phone was on loud speaker so he could hear everything. They discuss the details and agreed on everything.

"I'll be there so-" A familar voice spoke before the man cut the call.

"Ranmaru..."

Three days passed without much harm on me physically but I obviously wasn't treated like royalty. He brings me to the deserted location and waited for the person for their exchange.

Uncle and Ranmaru appears out of a limo.

"Uncle! Ranmaru!" I cry out of relief that they arrived safely. "AAG-"

The man holding me hostage suddenly pulls my hair and brings the knife closer to my neck.

"HEY! WE HAVE THE MONEY LET HER GO!" Ranmaru shouts, visibly furious.

"Calm down." Uncle brings out his case and shows the wads of cash inside.

The man loosens his grip on my hair upon seeing the money.

"Close it and push it here!" He orders. "Or something terrible will happen to her." He cuts my arm which made me wince.

"DON-" Ranmaru was cut off by Uncle sliding the case towards us.

The man now throws me aside and hungrily checks the content of the case.

"YOU!!!!" Ranmaru suddenly charges at him and hit him square in the face. He applied so much force that the man literally flew back upon impact.

Suddenly police surrounded us and pointed guns at the man. They arrest him and made sure I was okay.

"Melody!" Ranmaru tackles me in a heavy hug, toppling us over.

"Ranmaru!" I hug him back as we were now reunited. Tears flowed down my eyes as relief starts to settle in. "A-Are you okay...?"

He began shaking in my arms. I could feel him hold his tears back.

"Hey hey..." I hug him tighter and rubbed his back. "I'm fine. I'm right here."

"I won't ever let you go...ever..." He proceeds to hug me even tighter.

This strong, hot headed man who was always so dependable was now crying in my arms. He was hugging me tightly but it was as if he was afraid that I would break and disappear. Uncle told me that he hasn't slept since the day that I was kidnapped.
