Another morning, another day of stressing over the fact that I STILL HAVEN'T MADE THE SONG.
I was rumbling on my desk trying to think of possible tunes when a knock came from my door.
"Coming!" I shouted, quite irritated and opened the door.
"Busy?"
"Very." I sighed. "Can I help you?"
Tokiya only smiled when I asked that.
"I think you're the one that needs help."
"Hm? Why?"
"Are you done packing?"
"Pack-OH RIGHT!" I jolt in place just remembering.
"Don't tell me you actually forgot that we're leaving tomorrow?" Tokiya chuckled and sat on my bed as I furiously pulled my empty luggage out of my closet.
"I did!" I said in a dead, raspy tone. "Work has been hard okay?" I sigh in defeat.
"That's why I'm here right?" He stood up from my bed and kissed my forehead with his hand behind my head. "Don't stress too much, c'mon let's get started."
"Alrighttt..." I slurred as I opened my closet with a slightly irritated move. I was exhausted okay? "How many days will we be staying there?"
"2 days and 1 night." He replied.
"Alrighty then."
"I'll tell you what you need and pull it out of your closet okay?"
"M'kayy."
"Two shirts, at least one shorts and one pants, swimsuit, shoes, socks, " As he continued the list, I literally pulled everything out of my closet and threw it behind me, where my bed was placed. "Sweater, your bath pouch, sun block, your phone and wallet."
"I did it." She turned around to see the mess she had created on her once neatly made bed. "Dammit."
"You didn't expect your clothes just to fly in your luggage now will it?" Tokiya only chuckled at me which irritated me a bit, but I was in a bad mood so anything can make me pissed. "This is where I come in and help."
He started folding the clothes I picked out from my closet and putting then inside my bag neatly. Tokiya reminded me of my grandmother which made me smile, which was not caught my him.
"Thanks so much." I said as I started packing my bag as well.
"Anything to help you." He quickly pecked my cheeks. "By the way I'm going to have a surprise for you."
"Going to?" I raised a brow. "What does that mean?"
"You'll find out eventually." His lips tugged to one side.
"Okay then..." To be honest at this point, I was too depleted of energy to push him so I left it at that.
After a few couple of minutes, we were finally finished.
"Thank you so much..." I slump down to my bed and see him lying down beside me.
"It's what I'm here for right?" Tokiya only smirked and kept his cool demeanor. "I'll have to go now. I've got to help Otoya with his stuff as well."
"He's also having a hard time?" I chuckled.
"You guessed it." He sighed.
"Hahaha. That's just like him." I began to sink on my bed. "See you soon?"
"See you soon." He said before leaving my room half way. "Love you."
"Love you too." I said before I hear the door closing. "I'm too damn lucky..." I sigh as I force myself back up and sit on my chair.
I kept writing a few more notes then I slumped back on my desk.
"I need to do this myself...and yet unable too." I talk to myself.
I cover my face with my arms which made me even more depressed. I look up and see the picture frame which held the flower that Cecil gave me. The flower which was a cute little fading color of pink. Where the outer petals was emitting a darker color. A gradient. (HOLOSEXUALS WHERE YOU AT??)
"Pretty." The flower made me reminisce what Cecil had done to cheer me up. At that time I thought it was only a dream, but the so called 'dream' was more effective than I thought. Getting encouraged by a stranger just seemed so real. Unlike others who give off handed compliments only to boost their impression to you.
I can't be discouraged, not while I'm already here.
I gather my thoughts and head off to the music room where the piano was at. It was already late in the evening when I headed out and I managed to catch Masato inside the music room finishing his practice, I think.
"Hello Masato." I greeted with a smile.
"Oh, good evening." Masato turned to me as he stopped playing. "Here to practice?"
"Yep. Also trying to make our song." I chuckled a little embarrassed that I still haven't made our song.
"Is it going well?" He asks standing from the piano stool.
"To be completely honest...no."
"I hope I can be of help." He bowed his head slightly and smiled at me encouragingly. "You can do this."
That made my heart feel much warmer.
"Thank you Masa." I grinned.
I made my way towards the piano. "May I?"
"Of course." Masato gestured.
I sat on the piano and placed my notes in front of me. I began playing some notes and every so often Masato would tell me what could work and I adjusted to it. For the longest time ever, I finally see a light through the dark tunnel. I hold the piece that caught our attention.
"Masato..I have a good feeling about this." I shamelessly said, feeling that maybe this could work.
"I do too." Masato smiled. "Oh, I have to get going. Ranmau and Ren are probably going to find me soon."
"Go ahead. I'll be here for a while." I ushered him. "Good night?"
"Good night." He bid me goodbye and left.
I spent a few couple of hours on the piano occasionally switching to the guitar that was in the room. I fixed a few couple notes before feeling my body tell me to rest. I let out a rather unladylike yawn escape my lips.
"Time to go." I talk to myself and turned off the lights inside the room and made my way to the dimly lit hallway.
Tomorrow is the day we go to the beach. I sure hope that I'll get some inspiration there or else nothing can help me at this point...probably.
