"Grandmaaa?" I slowly opened the door to her room. (Let's say it's Tuesday today)

"Huh?"

Her voice sounds so raspy since the last time I heard her.

"Grandma! It's me, Melody." I closed the door behind me and noticed that Nanami was here. "Hey sis."

Nanami waved at me.

"Melody? W-Why are you here?" Her medical bed was inclined so she could see me.

"I'm here to visit you."

"Hahhh..." She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

"Was she up all day?" I asked. I arrived in the afternoon, since I just finished our final song this morning.

"She was waiting for you." Nanami eyed our sleeping grandma. "Did you finish the song?"

"Yep." I smiled and sat next to her. "Oh yeah, the guys told me that they were going to visit pretty soon. Is that okay?"

"Of course." Nanami smiled. "Grandma might not remember them but company is always appreciated."

"That's good." I look at grandma's face.

Her cheeks looks sunken. Well the doctors said to remove her fake teeth. When I came in I could see her eyes. It was shady. It looked like there was a misty could covering her vision. In both her arms there were needles of sorts being injected to her system since she didn't have the energy to digest anything anymore. Her once healthy figure was now sunken. The skin on her arms were sagging, accentuating her thin bones.

(To all the Filipino's out there what is the English word for pustiso? Pls help XD )

"She looks so...frail." Nanami was close to tears. "I feel like it's very soon. She might not be able to reach next week. We need to be here for her when the time comes."

"Of course." I nod with her, feeling my own eyes well up.

Time passed by quicker than I imagined. I wanted to stay the night here with Nanami just in case anything happens and I told the guys that when they arrived.

"Of course." They respected my decision.

I was feeling dread creep up on me. Knowing that I could have done much more things with her, if only...

STARISH arrived a bit late along with QUARTET NIGHT, but thankfully grandma was awake. Soon after Nanami's boyfriend arrived as well.

"Who?" She asked in a croaky voice.

"They're STARISH, the idol group I compose for." I tried my best not to cry while talking to her. "They are QUARTET NIGHT, you haven't met them before, but they are my senpai's"

She didn't reply but I could tell that she understood, even just a little bit.

"Take care...two." Grandma uttered and to my surprise, I think she was talking to them.

*IN THE GUY'S POV*

We will. We promise.

*BACK*

"Piano...play..." Grandma was lifting her hands in the air weakly as if trying to press piano keys. Then she closed her eyes to probably rest.

This broke me.

My tears began to fall like a water fall. I couldn't help my body jolting every few seconds. This was too much. She was already hallucinating. Grandma was remembering when we used to play the piano together. I could hear Nanami sobbing like a wreak as well as her boyfriend comforted her with a hug.

I could tell Natsuki shed a tear when he used the back of his hand to wipe his eyes. Ren was pained so he just turned his head to the side. I could tell that he was struggling from tears falling. Syo was sniffing like his nose was clogged, I am too. Masato had few tears dripping down his face, but he quickly wiped them away as they fell from his face with his handkerchief. Otoya was pouring his eyes out but kept his shaking to a minimum. Tokiya closed his eyes with his clenched fist beside him. Reiji tipped his hat to cover his crying face. Ranmaru looked at the floor with a red nose. Ai was looking at the floor keeping silent while placing his hand over his chest. Camus turned his head to the side and sniffed a few couple of times.

Everyone was sad. Inside the room, only two people was actually close with grandma. Nanami and I. Everyone else was just acquainted to her recently or even just now, yet...everyone looked so sad.

Tokiya came to my side and hugged me. I wrapped my arms around his torso and clenched the back part of his shirt. I knew I was crumpling it and I knew that I was staining his shirt with my tears but at the moment the thought never crossed my mind. My heart was being stabbed, not in the usual way on when someone dumps you, it was slow and agonizing. It was as if my breathing was being cut off with all the involuntary flinches that is did.

"It hurts." I clenched his shirt harder. "I'm...sad..."

"I know, I know." He said in the most calming tone I could ever hear him speak.

"I-I-I could have done so many things with her...spend more time with her, chat with her more." I can tell I'll be dehydrated tomorrow.

"But we can't do anything about it now." Nanami spoke with a broken tone. "We have to spend the time she has left letting her know we love her."

"I know..." I tightly shut my eyes, at this point my eyes became like a sponge that absorbed lots of water.

After both of us had calmed down we thanked everyone for coming. We even shared laughter to those who doesn't seem like crying, actually cried. We had a good laugh and so they bid us farewell as well as our sleeping grandma.

Tokiya and Hanz stayed with us to comfort both of us but soon enough it was getting really late so we practically forced them to go home.

Luckily in the hospital we were at had two relatively large sofa's. After consoling one another we begun to fall into slumber.

Beep-----Beep-----Beep

I open my eyes to the strange new sound. Nanami was also awoken to this sound.

We both looked at one another with worry and head over to where our grandmother laid.

"She's gone." She said, as both of us let tears run down our face.

Thank you for everything. I, we, will miss you.

~

Hello guys! I know this seems a little sad but to be completely honest this was how my grandmother died this last March. Her passing made me really regret so many things that I could have done to be a proper granddaughter to her. But nonetheless she had lived a beautiful life (I hope) and to properly say thank you for everything. I wrote this chapter for her. <3

BTW I didn't witness her death but hours before she died I visited her. I didn't expect her to pass away so quickly, but I was glad to see her for one final time.
