Gone Missing
It took several days for Buck to heal
And he stayed with Petra at the forge.
All day he listened to the pounding of steel
And wished he didn't have to lie around anymore.
But the day finally came when Petra said
"Okay. You've healed up nicely, Buck.
I'll let you go to work today.
But you'd better not let things run amok."

He kissed her goodbye and walked slowly there,
itching to get his life back on track.
When he got to the jail, he sat down in his chair and sighed.
"It's good to be back."

"I just got back here."
