Until she can get the entire lowdown
She avoided Petra at the forge
And Josie at the stables.
Seeing them both was a luxury
She could not afford.

Her redemption she did not earn
A demon now in BG
Better if they did not see.
Rumors whispered in the dark
Of Jake and what was his part
Involving the death of Mary Sue
She wondered if she should contact Rue
Brandy took it all in
Wondering where to begin.
Some did not believe it was Jake
Brandy hoped it true
For his and Josie's sake.
But it still seemed someone was
Looking for him to take the blame
Which put them in danger all the same.
She'd keep her ears and eyes open
Easy to do when she didn't need sleep.
She moved in the shadows
Through Tent City, she'd creep.
There was someone who may
have the information she needed.
She wondered what he'd say
If he saw here again today.
A mischievous smile on her lips
she did display.
