Brody heard shooting in the street
And down to the lobby he ran
He didn't get far as more rang out
This time at him, from Wise's right-hand man
He dove behind a big stuffed chair
As bullets flew all around
Then returned the fire as they came through the door
And saw one fall to the ground
Two ran for the stairs to the Deputy's room
The remaining two tried to flank the chair
Brody was pinned and couldn't move
Something hot creased through his hair
He dove for the wall, fired at will
And saw another man knocked off his feet
The other one quit and ran back out the door
And met his own fate in the street

When CM decided to join the fight
And knocked him out with his hooves.
Myna rushed out of the room
And stopped short at the landing

She blasted her six-shooters
The first man fell flat on his face
His limp body slid down the steps.
Bullets peppered up the stairs
While Myna quickly retreated back
A woman in petticoats opened her door
Not hearing any more commotion
She had thought the gunfight was over.
The second man thumped upand fired around the corner
A bullet whizzed by Myna's ears
As she jumped through the open door
Slamming it shut and leaning hardshe placed a finger on her lips

But Miss Petticoats shivered and swooned
And hit the floor with a thud.
Bella was exhausted,
But she had to help her friends
Brody was down at the lobby
and Myna had rushed away.

Bella searched for a familiar face
In the crowd gathering outside the hotel
Worried when she found none.
She heard gunfire; a scream followed by a thud.
She peeked through the keyhole
And knew what she had to do.
She grabbed the empty washbasin
and jumped out into the hallway.
She smacked the man on the head
He slumped forward and cursed out loud
Suddenly turning with his gun aimed high
Bella stumbled a few steps back.
Myna fired through the door
And the man dropped dead.
