Hey sorry y'all, I've been really busy. I had show this weekend and I didn't have time to update. I'm going to update for Friday and Monday and then I'm going to give y'all an extra chapter. Sorry, I promise I'll get better at updating.

Mackenzie's POV
I fell asleep thinking about Kian. I woke up around 9:30 and went to get some breakfast. I was just gonna stay home and be lazy all day. I decided to go upstairs and take a shower since I didn't take one last night. I know, dirty girl. I was too tired. I got my clothes and went into my bathroom. It was connected to my bedroom.
I was getting out and was going to go downstairs when I heard someone was at the front door. I got scared and backed up the stairs still looking at the door. I had gotten to the door of my bedroom when the front door swung open and three guys came running in. I ran into my bedroom and closed and locked the door. I grabbed my phone off of my night stand and ran into my bathroom and locked that door too. I ran into my closet which was in my bathroom and closed that door. I was so scared. I was home alone and no one was here to help me. I decided that I was gonna call Kian.
The phone rang for a couple of seconds. The whole time I was thinking please don't find me and Kian pick up. Kian finally answered the phone.
"Kian!" I whispered. By this time I was in tears.
"Mackenzie what's wrong?" He asked.
"Kian 3 guys just picked the lock to my front door and came in. I'm in my bathroom and I locked my bedroom and bathroom door, but please come help me!" I whisper yelled.
"Okay. Stay calm and don't make noise. I'm coming with all the guys we will be there soon."
"No don't hang up please." My voice was shaking.
"Okay. We are in the car and on our way now. Do you hear them?"
As soon as he asked that question there was banging on my bedroom door.
"We know you're in there!" One guy yelled.
"Kian. Hurry!" I cried into the phone.
"Stay calm and quiet. Don't say anything to them."
"Okay, but Kian please!"
"Kenz I'm trying. We'll be there in 5 minutes."
"Okay."
"Im going to hang up now. I will text you when I get inside to your room. Okay?"
"Okay. Don't get hurt."
"Okay Kenz. Hang tight."
I hung up the phone and stayed in my closet. I got a text from Kian.
"Open your door."
I got up slowly and I was shaking. I walked out of my bathroom and to my bedroom door.
"Kian?"
"Yes Kenz, it's me."
I opened the door and pulled him in for a hug.
Kian's POV
Mackenzie opened her door and hugged me. I hugged her back. She was crying into my shoulder and I pulled away. She looked up at me and I wiped her tears with my thumbs.
"Thank you!" She jumped into my arms. I put her back down after a couple of minutes.
"You are staying at our house tonight. I don't want you here alone." I said wrapping my arm around her waist. I pulled her close and we walked down the stairs and out to Ricky's car. Connor, Ricky, and Jc all came out of her house.
"No one is there, but it looks like a lot is gone." Jc said.
I sat next to Mackenzie in the back of the car and she turned into my shoulder the whole ride crying. I rubbed her back trying to make her feel better and she calmed down a little. We got to my house and it was around 6:30.
I led Mackenzie into the living room and we sat down on the couch together. She would not let go of me, but I didn't mind. We sat on the couch and watched tv until 9:00. I got up and walked Mackenzie to my room. I was going to let her sleep there and I was going to go to the couch until her mom got home.
"Connor called the police and told them what happened. They got the guys later today at another house." I told her. "They also called your mom and told her that you were staying with us."
"Th-that's good." She said. "What did my mom say."
"She said she was fine with it as long as you were okay." I kissed the top of her head.
We were laying down on my bed and we talked for a little bit about what had happened.
"I'm tired." She said.
"Okay. Get some rest. I'll be downstairs on the couch if you need me." I started to get up and Mackenzie pulled on my arm.
"No please stay. I'm too scared to be alone."
"Are you sure." I asked knowing that her mom was over protective of her.
"Yea at least until I fall asleep."
"Okay." I mean come on we aren't going to do anything.
I laid back down and wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me. She grabbed my hand and I rubbed my thumb over the back of hers until she fell asleep. I was supposed to go back and sleep on the couch, but I accidentally fell asleep holding Mackenzie in my arms.
