Mackenzie's POV
I woke up and didn't want to wake Kian. I slowly got up and out of bed. I went into the living room and Jc was in the kitchen cooking.
"What are you making?" I asked.
"Breakfast." He said.
"Well no shit." I said and looked at the food.
"Mm pancakes." I said.
"I make the best ones, get a plate." He said.
I got us some plates and he put the pancakes on them. We sat down at the table and ate. I was done with my first pancake and was going to my second when Kian walked in the kitchen.
"Morning babe." I said to him as he grabbed a plate.
"Morning." He said putting food on his plate.
He then walked over to the table and sat down next to me. I kissed him and then he started eating.
"Sorry." I said to Jc who was stirring the food on his plate with a fork.
"No it's fine." He said.
"How about we get out of the house for a little?" Kian asked.
"Okay, where to?" Jc asked him.
"We can go walk around or go driving somewhere." Kian said.
"Okay, sounds good I guess." Jc said.
"Okay go get ready because we'll leave soon." Kian said getting up and taking all of our plates to the sink. He rinsed them off and put then in the dishwasher.
"I'll clean up the rest later." I said to Kian as I wrapped my arms around him from behind.
"Do you mind if only Jc and I go today?" He asked turning his head back to look at me.
"No that's fine." I said.
"It's just that I think he needs some guy time and he needs to be away from 'us' together for a day." Kian said.
"That's true." I said.
"I mean that is what I would want in that situation." Kian said.
"Ok you two have fun." I said letting go of him.
"Thank you." Kian said.
He turned to face me and kissed me. Our lips moved in sync for a minute and then we pulled apart.
"I need to get ready." Kian said.
We both went to the room and I laid back down on the bed. Kian took a shower and got ready in the bathroom. He came out of the bathroom while trying to put his shirt on.
"What do you plan on doing today?" He asked me.
"I'm not sure yet." I said as Kian crawled over me and pecked my lips.
"I might go over to Lauren's and see what's going through her mind." I said.
"Okay, have fun and let me know how she is. I got to go, Jc is waiting." Kian said and pecked me one last time before he got up.
I followed him out into the living room where Jc was waiting. We walked to the front door and Jc went outside.
"Call me when you get back." Kian told me.
"How long do you plan on staying out?" I asked.
"Until he gets everything off his chest." Kian says.
"You are the best friend." I said.
"Well I love you and don't forget to call me." Kian said.
"I love you too." I said and pecked him.
