Kian's POV
I was sitting at home on the couch when Jc walked in and sat next to me.
"We have to move out in a couple of weeks." He said.
"Yea I know." I said.
I was stuck between still living with Jc or living on my own or even asking Kenzie. I hadn't even talked to him about my decisions yet.
"Dude, I have to be honest with you and I'm not sure if I'm going to move in with you this time." I said.
"Are you living on your own?" He asked.
"Yea, but I'm not sure if I want Kenzie to move in with me too. I mean I'm not sure if we are ready for that step yet or not."
"Oh that's cool dude, I don't mind if you move on your own. I might move in with JJ or I'll find my own place." He said.
"I'm glad you're okay with this." I said.
"I mean if it's what you want to do then I can't stop you. I might even crash at Lauren's for a while, but I have to talk to her about it first."
"Cool." I said.
"Well you better talk to Kenzie about this whole moving plan of yours." Jc said.
"Okay." I said and got up.
I went upstairs to my room and called Kenzie.
"Hey babe." She said.
"Hey, can I come pick you up and we'll go walk to the park or something?" I asked.
"Yea, sure. Is everything okay?" She sounded concerned.
"Yea, no everything is fine. I just need to talk to you about something." I said.
"Okay, well I'll see you soon then." She said.
"Okay, bye." I said and ended the call.
I got my keys and drove to Kenzie's house. I knocked on her door and she came outside.
"Are you sure everything is okay?" She asked as we walked.
"Yea, I promise." I said.
"So what do you need to talk to me about?" She asked.
"Well our rent is up in a couple of weeks." I started.
"Yea, don't y'all need to start looking for places?" She asked.
"Yea we should start looking." I said and by 'we' I meant Kenzie and I.
"Kenz." I stopped walking as soon as we got to the park.
"Yea."
"I'm not moving to another house with Jc." He said.
"Why not, I thought you liked living with him."
"I want to move in with someone else." I said taking her hands in mine.
She just looked up at me with a confused look on her face.
"Kenz, I don't want to move in with Jc because I want to move to a house with you." I said.
"Kian I don't know, that is a big change for me." She said.
"I know but I think you are ready for this."
"Will you give me some time to think?" Kenzie asked.
"Yes, of course. Kenz I love you and I think we are ready to move in together."
"I mean, Kian, I would love to but I just don't know yet." She said.
"I understand you need time to think, but really think about this." I said and kissed her forehead.
"Okay." She said and hugged me.
"I think I'm ready to move out on my own, but let's see what my mom thinks." She said pulling away from the hug.
"Okay." I said and took her hand in mine.
We started walking back towards her house.
"How did your mom react to you moving out at like 17/18 with a bunch of guys?" She asked.
"She was hesitant at first but then the other guys talked her into it."
"So you're going to talk my mom into it." She smiled.
"Sure." I said.
Mackenzie's POV
We got back to my house and went in. We found my mom sitting on the couch and sat next to her.
"Mom, I have a question to ask you and I want your honest opinion." I said as I gripped Kian's hand a little more.
"Okay." She said.
"What do you think about me moving out and into a house with Kian?" I asked.
"Are you ready for this?" She asked me.
"Yes." I said.
"Well then I think that you and Kian will do great living together." She said.
"Really?" I asked excited.
"Yes, really. I think you two are responsible enough to have a house of your own together." She said.
"Thank you so much." I said and hugged my mom.
"When will y'all move?" She asked.
"In a couple of weeks my rent is up so we have to find a place by then and try to get moved in quick." Kian said.
"Will y'all rent or buy?" She asked.
"Probably rent because we can find out where we want to settle down that way." Kian said.
"That's what my plan was going to be." I said.
"That's why we are perfect for each other." Kian said and kissed me.
"You two are going to have so much fun decorating a house together." My mom said.
We both smiled and so did my mom.
"Have fun you two." She said as she left the room.
"When I get home I'm going to start looking at places and you should too." Kian said.
"Okay, goodnight babe." I said.
"Goodnight. I can't wait to live with you." He said and kissed me.
"Me either." I said as he left.
I then went inside and went up to my room. I started looking up places online and found a couple before I went to sleep.
