Mackenzie's POV
I woke up the next morning to my mom shaking me.

"What do you want?" I groaned.

"Get up, it's noon."

I sat up and swung my feet over the edge of my bed.

"Is there food?" I ask.

"Yes there are pancakes now come downstairs." She left my room.

I threw my hair up in a pony tail and sat downstairs at the table. I ate my breakfast then joined my mom on the couch.

"What are you doing today?" I asked my mom.

"Nothing, do you have any plans?" She asked me.

She turned her head to look at me when I started to answer.

"I was going to go to-" she interrupted me.

"What are those?" She asked stern.

"What are what?" I asked trying to see what she was looking at.

"What are those on your neck!?" She yelled.

"Mom calm down. It's nothing." I said and looked her in the eyes.

"Yes they are something. What did you two do and don't you dare lie to me." I looked down to the floor.

"You look at me when I am talking to you. What did you two do? I'm not going to ask again." She snapped.

"We just kissed, calm down. We didn't do anything." I yell at her.

"Don't you tell me to calm down. Mackenzie this is unacceptable." She yelled.

"Mom I am about to graduate and I can do what I want to do. You don't have control over that." I snapped back at her.

"I wish I didn't have to do this, but Mackenzie Nicole you are no longer allowed to see or date Kian."

"You can't make that happen." I smirked.

"Maybe not at school, but at home I am taking away your phone, laptop, and car privileges."

I stormed off to my room and locked the door. I unplugged my phone from the charger. I clicked on Kian's contact in my phone and called him.

"Hey babe, how are you?" He answered.

"Kian, she saw them." My voice shakes.

"What? She saw what?" He asks.

"She saw my neck." I cried knowing what I had to tell him next.

"Mackenzie Nicole get down here right now!" I heard my mom yell but I ignored her.

"And what did she do?" He asks concerned.

I break down crying.

"Kenz it's okay. Calm down and tell me." He says.

"And she said I can't be with you anymore." I cry even harder.

"She can't do that. We see each other all the time."

"Kian, I know, but she is taking away my phone, laptop, and car. She said she knows she can't stop us at school, but at home I'm not connected to anyone and I can't go anywhere." I cry.

"Babe, no. We will still see each other. I don't care what she says. I will do whatever it takes to make you happy." I smiled.

"Why does she have to make this a big deal when it's not." I still cry.

"Kenz, it's okay. Just remember that I love you so so much and we will get through this and work this out, okay?"

"Okay."

"I love you."

"I love you too Kian." I smiled and wipe my tears.

Then there is furious knocking on my door.

"Kian I have to go, but I'll try to text or call you later. Bye." I say and hang up.

"Open this door right now!" My mom yells.

I walk over and open the door. I hand her my phone and she snatches it from me.

"And your laptop." She says and holds out her hand.

I give it to her along with my keys.

"Thank you. I'm sorry, but you're still in high school and have a future ahead of you and I don't want some stupid ass boy to ruin your future."

"Don't you dare call Kian that. He is not stupid!" I yell.

"Honey, he is going to ruin your future with a child. I can't believe I trusted him to take you on that trip alone." She shook her head.

"Mom me and Kian didn't do anything I swear. Please, let me see him." I beg.

"Why would I let you do that?" She asks.

"Because I love him."
