----End Note----Mackenzie's POV
Kian wasn't at school the rest of this week and we hadn't talked in about 2 weeks. I was really worried and I missed him a lot.I decided that today after school I was going to go to his house. It was Friday and I couldn't go the weekend without talking to Kian.
The final bell rang and I ran out of school. I ran home and dropped off my backpack. I then walked to Kian's house.
I knocked on his door and his mom answered. She let me in and I went up to Kian's room. I knocked before I entered.
Kian turned around from his closet and I ran to him. I hugged him tightly with a tear rolling down my cheek.
"Kian I missed you so much!" I hug him even tighter and his grip tightens around me as well.
"I missed you too." He said into my neck.
"Why haven't you answered my calls or texts and why haven't you been at school?" I ask concerned.
Kian's POV
My bedroom door opened and I turned around to see Kenzie. My heart dropped and butterflies filled my stomach. I guess today was the day that I was going to tell her but I had a lot of explaining to do."Why haven't you answered my calls or texts and why haven't you been at school?" She asks me looking concerned and I don't blame her.
"Come sit." I grabbed her hands and led her to sit on the edge of my bed.
I turned to face her and she did the same. I held her hands and nervously played with her fingers not looking up at her face. Instead I looked at our hands.
Here goes nothing.
Mackenzie's POV
Kian and I sat on his bed and faced each other. He nervously played with my fingers. There was something that was going on that he wasn't telling me about."Kian, what's wrong? Look at me." I said.
He lifted his head with hurt in his eyes.
"Kian you can tell me."
"I have been avoiding you Kenz and I hate it, but I just didn't know what else to do." He said with his hands shaking and sweating a little.
"Babe what's going on?" I ask more stern yet still concerned.
Kian lets go of my hands and sits up straighter. He rolls up his sleeves and looks at his wrists then back up at me. He takes a deep breath.
"It's okay you can tell me. Remember, I love you and nothing will change that." I said reassuring.
"I love you too and just remember that too." He said looking into my eyes.
I lean in to kiss him but he turns his head so I kiss his cheek instead. Okay that's it. I need to know what is bothering him.
"Okay Kian. What's going on? Tell me." I say sternly.
He looks down then back up at me with tears in his eyes.
