Lauren's POV
"I can't believe I'm actually going to this stupid party." I say while putting on my sandals.
"I know. Me either." He says.
"You know, I'm only going because I love you." I say and reach for Jc's hand.
He places his hand into mine. We arrive at the beach and there are a lot of people already there.
"Don't wander away from me, okay?" I say.
"Okay. I promise I will be glued to you all night."
We walked down to the beach and immediately I was offered a red cup.
"No thanks." I said and Jc took it.
"Babe, what is that?" I asked.
"A drink. You want to try it?" He asked.
"I don't want you getting drunk here." I said sounding like a mom.
"Babe calm down. I won't I'll just have a couple." He said.
"Okay, but I'm driving home either way." I said.
"Come on let's go have some fun." He said pulling me further down the beach.
Kian's POV
It's around 5:30 so I go to pick Kenzie up. I arrive at her house and knock on the door. She answers and steps out of the house. She looked so beautiful.
She was wearing a white tank top with a colorful pattern at the top and pinkish shorts. She had her hair in loose curls and teal earrings on. She had several pink and white bracelets on her wrist and white sandals on.
"Kian you ready?" She asked.
"Yea and by the way you look beautiful." I say.
"You say that all the time." She blushed.
"I know, but I mean it." I smiled and got in the car.
I turned on the car and intertwined out fingers. I drove to the beach.
"I can't believe Jc got Lauren to go to this." Kenzie said.
"Well he is a pretty persuasive guy." I said.
"Yea that is true." Kenzie said as I parked the car.
We got out and went down to the beach. A lot of people were there. We walked down hand in hand and were offered red cups.
Mackenzie's POV
Kian took the red cup but I didn't.
"Babe you're too young. What if you get caught." I said.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry." He said and kissed me.
"Fine let's go find Lauren and Jc." I say.
We walk through the crowd of people and finally find them.
"Hey guys." Lauren said and hugged me.
"He's drinking too?" She added.
"Yea." I said annoyed.
"Kian." She started.
"I know, I'll be fine." He said.
I looked up at him still annoyed.
"We are going to get away from this crowd to go watch the sunset, wanna come?" I asked.
"No, we were going to go to the rocks over there and watch ourselves." Jc said.
"Thanks though." Lauren added.
"Okay, see you guys later." Kian said as we turned and walked away.
We walked further down the beach until we couldn't see the people and we could only see the sunset.
"It's so pretty." I said sitting on the sand.
"Like you." Kian smiled.
"Why do you always say that and call me beautiful?" I ask.
"Because it's true." He smiled and kissed me. I then pulled away.
"Kian you taste like alcohol." I say.
He then leans in to kiss me again but I roll onto my side and Kian rolls onto me. I squirm and roll around on the sand and Kian does too.
"Kian stop." I say as he continues to try to kiss me.
"Why won't you kiss me?" He asks.
"Because you taste like alcohol and I don't like it." I say.
"Well then." He said and got up.
He helped me up to my feet and wiped the sand off of me. We walked back towards the party and Kian got him another drink. I really wish he didn't choose to drink tonight.
