Kian's POV
I woke up to my alarm. I turned it off and rolled back over. 5 more minutes please. I finally got up and made it to my closet. I picked out some pants and a short sleeve shirt with a hoodie because it was getting cold outside. I couldn't find my favorite hoodie so I just settled for a different one. I went in the bathroom and fixed my hair and did all that good stuff and then I went down stairs. I grabbed something to eat and grabbed my keys then I headed out the door. I got in my car and drove off to school. I thought about my date tonight. I wanted it to be perfect. So far there haven't been many fights between me and Kenzie. We only really argued about where and what to eat and who won games and stupid mindless stuff like that.

I got to school and walked up the front steps. I didn't have a locker, instead I just carried everything in my backpack. I went to the cafeteria and sat at "our table." I soon saw Kenzie and got up. I found out where my favorite hoodie was, Kenzie had it. She walked over to me and we wrapped our arms around each other. I pulled away and grabbed her hands and sat down.

Mackenzie's POV
We sat down at the table and Kian held my hands. He just looked down and played with my fingers. I giggled.

"What?" He asks.

"Nothing."

"Tell me." He begged looking into my eyes.

"It's so cute how interested you are doing that." I looked back down at my hands.

He let go of my hands and placed his hands on my thighs. I put my hands on top of his. He pushed down a little on my thighs. This caused him to be able to sit up a little and kiss me. I kissed him back and he sat back down.

"You ready for tonight?" I asked him.

"Yea, I'm just nervous." He said looking down and grabbing my hand.

"Why?" We looked each other in the eyes.

"Because I want it to be perfect."

"Aw Kian. Don't worry, it will be."

The 2 minute bell rang. I got up and so did Kian. I gave him a hug and pecked him on the lips. I went off to class and he did too.

The day continued on and it went by ridiculously slow. Whenever I have something big planned or I have something exciting to do, the day always seems to go bye slow and I don't know why.

The bell rang to let us go home. I ran and met Kian outside in the parking lot. I ran up to him and jumped in his arms. I pecked him several times and then pulled back and looked at him and he pecked me. We both leaned in and kissed each other one last time before he put me down. I hugged him tight.

"Go home and get ready. I'm coming at 5." He said.

"Okay. Love you." I said.

"I love you too." He said pulling out of the hug. I looked up and kissed him again before running off to the other parking lot to find my mom's car.

"Hey honey! How was your day?" She asked me. She had just gotten back home yesterday.

"Great!" I smiled thinking about my date tonight.

"So you and Kian?" She asked. I blushed.

"What about us?" I asked.

"Well are you two just friends?" She asked.

Why did she just ask me this? She hadn't seen us together yet so I wondered how she knew about him. Oh! I told her about our date tonight, I forgot I told her.

"What do you think mom? We are going on a date tonight." I looked at her.

"Just making sure. Please be careful honey."

"Mom, I'll be fine. I'm not going to make any stupid choices with him or anybody at that."

"Okay good." She turned into our driveway.

"Yet." I mumbled under my breath.

I walked inside and called Lauren. She asked me to call her once I got home so she could come over and help me get ready.
