----End Note----

Mackenzie's POV
I had so many places that I wanted to show Kian. I wanted to show him all the places that I went while I was growing up. I only had a limited amount of time to show him all these places, though.

We got in the car and I drove. I first took Kian to the house that I used to live in with my mom and dad.

"This is my old house. I know you're probably like wow it's just a house, but this is where I grew up. I never moved from this house until I went to California. This is also where I last saw my dad." A tear rolled from my eye.

Kian's POV
She mentioned her dad and she never talked about him once to me. I saw a tear tolling down her cheek and I wiped it with my thumb. I grabbed her hand and rubbed my thumb over the top of it.

"I get it. This is a special place to you." I say.

"Okay. Next place." She suddenly said.

"Okay, where to?" I asked.

"You'll see." She smiled.

"Okay then." I said and sat back in my seat.

She then arrived at a big stadium looking area. The signs said NRG stadium. We got out of the car and walked around.

There were tons of people there. I guess there was a carnival going on.

"This is the Rodeo it used to be called Reliant Stadium not NRG." She said.

"I used to go here all the time and hang out with my friends and then go to the concerts at night. When I was little, I would come here with my dad and he would take me on all the little kid rides." She smiled.

"I wish we had something like this." I say. I also was wondering, why is she just now talking about her dad. Is she going to tell me more about him?

"Yea. It's pretty cool and yea." She laughed.

We stayed at the carnival part of the Rodeo for half of the day and just did random things.

"You ready to go?" She asked.

"Yea I guess." I said as we walked towards the car.

Mackenzie's POV
I took him to 2 places that were kind of special to me. Places where I remember my dad the best. I wanted to take him to more places but we ended up at the carnival for most of the day.

I had never talked about my dad to Kian before and he never really talked to me about his either.

We finally got back to the hotel and I fell down onto the bed.

"It feels so good to lay down." I said. I was experiencing jet lag.

"I know. And you know what's even better?" Kian asks.

"What?"

"Getting to curl up next to you and cuddle all night long." He smiles as he lays down behind me.

"You know what's even better than that?" I say.

"What's that?" He asks.

"Getting to kiss you and be yours." I smile and kiss him.

"I love you and can't wait to show you what I have planned for 6 months." He smiles.

"I love you too and I'm excited to see what you have planned." I smiled.

Kian kissed the top of my head and I heard soft snores coming from him. I giggled and soon fell asleep too.
