Hey there,
I saw you walking down the street.
Wanted to brush the hair
From your eyes
To remind you that I care
About you.
Sometimes it's hard to tell you,
Sometimes I can't find the right words to say,
But I remember everything about you.
Mornings yelling about a brand-new day
Evenings curled up together.
I know you're gone,
I should move on, but I know
That sometimes I need your smile,
So rare and beautiful.
When I see you
In a big fluffy coat
I wanna bury myself against you
And hide from our problems.
Sometimes it's hard to tell you,
Sometimes I can't find the right words to say,
But I remember everything about you.
I wonder if you feel the same way?
Watching you with her, I'm lost now.
Those blue eyes,
So deep inside,
Hiding yourself from me,
The way you hid from everyone else.
I suppose this is karma
But I don't like it.
I remember everything you say;
Your laugh echoes in my head when I laugh.
I waited for your name to show on my phone,
But you never texted back,
So I guess this is over.
Goodbye, I love you.
Goodbye, I love you.
