It has been two days since Virgil told us about that Thomas person. We are all meeting him today. Virgil has gone to retrieve him and bring him here.

Roman is talking to Remy while Emile and Patton are talking. I'm looking out the window, waiting for Virgil. After a couple of minutes I see Virgil with another man. He has short brown hair, brown eyes, and just looks like your normal everyday guy.

I welcome them inside and they come sit down on the couch. Patton smiles, excited to meet someone new.

"Everyone this is Thomas, Thomas this is everyone," Virgil introduces us. We all take turns telling him our names.

He tells us how he wants to help us take Remus down and that he is a werewolf which could be a lot of help for us.

Roman asks, "Could you show us your werewolf form?"

Thomas shakes his head lightly, "No. I don't like forming into that unless I have to. I hope you understand."

Roman nods, "I do. I get it."

We all keep talking about random things but move onto serious matters. Such as breaking into the castle and killing Janus and Remus.

"When I went to scout out the castle I found a hatch on the roof. There is a padlock on it though so we can either find the key or just break it," Virgil informs us.

"Breaking it would probably be easier we just have to stay quiet about it though," Remy states.

Thomas speaks up, "When we have meetings at the town square there are alleyways people use to get around faster. We can use those to get close to the castle. If we want to attack during the day that is."

"Why would we want to do that during the day? Wouldn't using the night as cover be better," Patton asks.

Virgil answers, "It would be better but they will probably expect that. Which is why we are doing something new, something different. They won't know what's coming before it's too late."

We all start getting on with the plan.

"There. We are finally done," Roman said with a tired sigh as he laid back onto the couch.

Virgil nods, "Yeah. We should take a break now and focus on relaxing. We all should also start training. Some of us need to work on our fighting skills."

I nod, "That would be the smart thing to do. Especially since last time we fought them we lost and-" My mind flashes to Virgil getting killed. Remus laughing. Virgil's lifeless body on the floor. The blood.

"Logan," Virgil asked softly, grabbing my hand gently. "Are you okay?"

I look at him, squeezing his hand a bit, "I'm fine. I just don't want to lose you again."

Patton speaks up, "No one will end up dead. We will all be prepared this time. I promise."

He must've realized what I had thought about. I'm sure it wasn't hard for any of us to not think about that.

"After what happend last time, we now know what to expect," Remy states, holding Emile in his lap and close to his chest. "But keep in mind over the year, Remus and Janus have gotten worse."

We all nod. Thomas speaking up, "We should start training as soon as possible. The faster we take care of this, the faster we can free everyone from those terrible monsters."

Roman stands up, "I can set out some of my gym equipment. I have a punching bag that is in the basement. It's been for a few years."

Virgil perks up, "You have a basement?" He seems surprised.

"Yeah, I just never go down there," he states as he heads to the stairway, to the wall that is holding it up. He picks up the picture of a waterfall with some fish in the pond. He sets it off to the side. There is a door that I forgot was there.

"I forgot about the basement. Why did your mother lock it off again," I ask my best friend as I stand up and walk over to him.

Roman opens the door after unlocking it, "I can't remember. I know that after a while, she had gone a little crazy... She locked the basement door after... Holy shit!"

"What is it," I ask worried.

"Remember when we were teenagers and we were hanging out here one summer? My mother mention that someone broke into the house! Maybe that was Janus or Remus and she has something hiding down there," Roman stated with wide eyes.

"Maybe. We can take a look," I state. I turn to the group, "Roman and I will check out the basement. You all stay up here."

Everyone except Patton and Virgil nods. Virgil takes a step towards us, "Why can't we come with?"

Patton looks worried, "Is there something that your hiding from us?"

"What? No! No, that's not it," Roman says quickly. "We just want to make sure nothing bad is down there. We will be fast."

I follow Roman downstairs and turn on the light. The basement is filled with boxes and there are sheets are on some furniture. Dust is everywhere.

We look around, not seeing anything out of the ordinary. Until we get to the far back wall where things get bad.

"Roman, what the hell is this," I ask, staring at a closed coffin that is covered in layers of dust.

Roman doesn't say anything, just staring at the coffin. He looks just as shocked as me.
