Hello readers! Like I said in the previous chapter, this one will probably be longer.

Chapter 32
Joe

I don't know why jewels was acting so weird, but I wish I knew so I could make her feel better.

I hate it when she's panicked because it makes me worry. I don't want to keep asking her about it because she gets irritated. Is that a girl thing or something?

Since Julia is going shopping with Shelby today, I'm hanging out with Tony and Max. Were all going to the mall though, so we might see each other. If we see the girls in the mall, at least we'll know if they're okay.

We're just strolling in the mall and if we see anything we like, we'll stop. One girl came up to max and tried to flirt. He just held up left hand and told her he's taken by the most beautiful girl he knows. She looked offended. Max thought it was funny. He smiled and waved as she left. On the other hand, Tony was having fun flirting with the girls he saw. He was trying to find a date for prom. I told him to be nice to the girls otherwise they'll ignore him and not want anything to do with him. I also told him that it's okay to go on dates and get phone numbers, but if he finds a girl worth liking, he should focus on her and her only. Girls like the attention from guys. That's what max says anyway.

Max says that since he's engaged now, he knows more about women. That gave me a crazy idea.

"Hey max?"

"Yeah,"he said.

"I got worried about Julia this morning. She said that she had a dream that felt so real, but when I asked her to explain it she shut me out. I don't know what to do. I'm just trying to help her."

"Well," he began, "you worry about her way too much. Girls like the attention, but they like their privacy as well. If she wants to tell you she will. You shouldn't pressure her."

That makes soo much sense!

"Max, your a genius! Thanks man!"

"Aw, what can I say? I have plenty of experience."

"I believe that. You are engaged anyway."

"I want a girl that can cook," Tony said, "because I love food!" We laughed hysterically at his remark. "What's so funny?"

"Just wait! One day you'll find someone perfect for you. If you like them enough, you won't care if they can cook or not." Again, Max had a point.

We saw Julia, Shelby, and a few other girls I didn't know, all walk out of a store together laughing. I was about to go ask Julia who all of the unfamiliar faces were, but I was stopped by Max's hand grabbing my arm.

"Let her go. Look how much fun she's having. I bet that's the most fun she's had since... well, you know."

He was right she's been through a lot. She looked in our direction and waved excitedly. She wore sunglasses on her head and she had on white pants, a striped orange and white shirt, and brown sandals. She was holding many bags that were probably full of clothes and shoes. I looked over at Max. He saw my worried expression and sighed.

"Let her go. See if she comes over here."

Soon, all of the girls were walking over here. Shelby went up to Max and kissed him on the cheek. Julia came over to me and grabbed my hand.

"This is Max, my fiance, and this is Joe, Julia's boyfriend, and this is Tony, Joe's brother." Shelby made it sound like being boyfriend and girlfriend was something only elementary schoolers would do and they were the grown up, mature couple. "Guys," she said referring to Max and I, "this is Brooke, Madison, and Hannah." She pointed to each of them as she said their name. Tony stepped in front of us facing the girls.

"Hellooo ladies!" He tried his best to sound irresistible. It didn't work very well.

The girls just laughed at him.

"You're cute," Madison said still smiling, "but we're probably too old for you."

"Really?" He said temptingly, "and how old are you ladies?"

"I'm twenty," said Brooke.

"I'm nineteen," said Hannah.

"And I'm eighteen," said Madison.

"I'm seventeen," Tony said glumly.

Poor Tony. He'll find someone one of these days.

"I do however have a younger sister," Madison continued, "she's sixteen. If your looking for someone I'll see if she's available."

Tony looked genuinely surprised. He didn't expect her to help him find a date. "Thanks! What's her name? What does she look like? Is she nice? Does she even have a date yet?" Tony was bombarding her with questions.

"Here," she said taking a own out of her purse, "here's her number. Text her. I'll call her and let her know who it is."

"Wow, thanks! I'll be super nice and... Umm..." He looked over at me. He snapped his fingers, remembering what Max and I told him. "I'll only focus on her and not other girls!"

Madison looked pleased at his manners towards her sister.

"Well, we're going to go shop some more," Shelby started walking away. "Shop till ya drop," She added, "come on girls." She turned and guestured for her friends to follow her.

Julia stood up on her tippy toes and kissed my cheek. "I'll see you later?"

"Of course!" I was still kind of worried about her, but max is right. I have to give her privacy sometimes. And that means without me.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed it. I'm getting pretty close to the end, so please bate with me if the chapters start to get a little boring. Don't forget, votes and comments please! Maybe you could help me find some conflict? Until the next chapter...
