How did you like the last chapter? That's great! ... According to the last chapter, I can't leave the part out where Joe and Tony get home. Tony still has to read Julia's letter and Isabella's, and something more happens... Your welcome for the suspense.
Chapter 36
❤Joe❤I can only take the smell of popcorn for so long.
Being in a movie for three hours with a brother crunching on popcorn for the whole time gets annoying. A kid behind me wouldn't quit kicking my seat. Don't parents like to go to the movies alone? Without kids. My parents used to like going alone.
I assumed that Julia and Isabella were both asleep because the house was quiet when we walked in.
"I'm going to bed." Tony looked sick from all of the popcorn he ate. "I'll see you in the morning... Maybe."
Tony walked upstairs to his room, but when he got there... "What is this?"
I walked up to his room and saw what he was looking at. I laughed aloud at the expression on his face from reading Julia's letter. Julia wrote him a letter telling him to apologize for making Isabella believe that there is a monster in her room. He has to write a letter to Isabella, pretending to be the monster, and eat the candy in her room. That must have been Julia's idea to bribe him. Smart. I looked at Tony to see his his expression.
"Hey, works for me! That's free candy!"
I smiled at my girlfriends brilliancy.
Tony went into Isabella's room and found the candy.
"Sweet!"
Also on the table was paper and a bright pink crayon for him to write his note with. Tony stared at the paper and crayon.
"Alright," he said, "I'll do it for the candy."
"What about Isabella?"
"What about her?" He looked pathetic with the candy bar hanging out of his mouth.
"Do it for Isabella."
He sighed. "Alright. I'll write her the letter pretending to be the monster, for her."
I smiled because I won. He flashed me an agitated look that only made me laugh.
"Alright, I'll say... Dear Isabella,
Thanks for the candy. I read your letter and I've decided to leave you alone. On the other hand this candy tastes a lot better than your brother, so I will just eat the candy.
