CHAPTER 7

It was six o'clock in the evening when they finished their duty.

Tracy caught up with her cousin Caryl who was in the parking lot looking at her car

"Cuz? What are you doing?" Tracy asked

"Looking at your car, Cuz, I told you that you can't drive anymore," she said worriedly

"Cuz, I'm ok, and it's just a little dent, I'll get it fixed tomorrow"

"Sa ngayon, you're ok? What if-"

"Please cuz, nothing happened to me right, promise this kind of accident won't happen again" she explained

"It should be, what if Tito finds out about this, we'll definitely go back to the way we were before, do you want that?" nakakunot ang noon sa pagkasabi.

Tracy shook her head.

Her cousin is right, they are sure that if they find out about the incident that happened, the guard will shut them both down and send them back to the house, the more difficult it will be for them because their every move is being watched.

"I'm sorry, I promise it won't happen again," she said

Caryl just nodded

"Thanks for understanding cuz"

"You probably know why I react like this, I don't want it to happen" She didn't say anything when she saw the expression on Tracy's face.

"Alam ko, anyway,  I'll see you at home cuz" She was about to walk towards her car when Caryl suddenly grabbed her arm

"Where are you going?" she asked

"Sympre uuwi" nagtataka niyang sagot

"I know, pero hindi ka magmananeho, just leave it there, dito ka sasakay sa akin"

"Cuz-" she said

"Come on, don't whine" she pulled Tracy into her car

"Fine"

Tracy was about to enter Caryl's car when her phone suddenly rang

Ring. Ring. Ring

"Wait, I'll just answer," she said, seeing the name stamped on the screen, her eyes turned to Caryl, so Carly signaled king sino ang tumawag.

"Si Daddy"

"Sagutin mo"

Before she answered she cleared her throat.

"Hello, Dad?"

The person on the other line is speaking

"I haven't talked to Oliver yet, dad"

"We discussed, that tonight kasama mo siya dito sa bahay, then, naghihintay ako Tracy, where is it?" on the other line

"Because dad, I haven't-" she was cut off

She was not allowed to finish what she had to say.

"Yes, Dad"

Her last words before ending the call

"What?" Caryl asked

"I'm done, I'm at a dead end, Pinapunta tayo bukas he has an important visitor, we should be there and he has to introduce me to someone, 'yon kasi usapan namin ni daddy, akala ko nga nakalimutan lang niya o pantakot lang niya sa sa 'kin, tinotoo pala. Hindi ko naman talaga maiharap si Oliver hindi ko nga alam kung saan.What am I going to do cuz? "

Caryl sighed before she spoke.

"You don't have to do anything, just go along with what uncle wants, for now, as long as you haven't talked to that Oliver" she sneered when she mentioned Oliver's name
