I woke up to Mike bursting into the room.

"Lauren." He looked at the woman who was sitting beside me on the couch.

"Dad...."

"We've put this off for too long. Y/N we need you to go on another supply run." I sat up immediately at this.

"Y/N, no. Dad she's not well enough." I shook my head, wincing as I stood.

"I'm fine, Lauren." Mike gave me the list of things we needed and sent me out during the day when he knew they'd be safe without me.

I was about to walk out the door when Lauren pulled me into her arms.

"I love you." I looked into her eyes.

"What?" My voice was a mere whisper.

"I love you, Y/N. Please be careful." She cupped my cheek, leaving a soft kiss on my lips. She took off her necklace, putting it on me.

"So you're reminded that you have something to come back to." I smiled at that and turned to leave.

I felt her eyes on me as I walked out of the door, making my way to that same grocery store.

I felt eyes on me as I walked through the sleeping night owls.

They would wake if you were too loud, but they didn't mind me.

I easily zigzagged my way through them, a night owl waking up and making eye contact with me before falling back to sleep.

I got through the hoard of zombies and made my way to the entrance.

I got what we needed, adding some other things as well as new stuffed animals for Lance and Lana.

When I got out and passed the hoard I was tackled to the ground with a hand over my mouth.

My Limbs are tied up and I was lifted.

I struggled against the three girls, trying to get away my but immediately regretted it when I was kicked in the groin.

The girl furrowed her eyebrows when she saw how much pain I was in.

I was brought into the forest where I was tied to a tree.

"What the hell?!" I exclaimed, looking at all three of them.

"How the hell did you get passed those zombies?" I winced, beginning to cough up some blood.

Immediately the girls stepped away.

"You're one of them!" A gun was pressed to my temple.

"Wait, Dinah stop! Look!" The girl with the gun looked into my eyes.

"She's human, she's still breathing. She would have turned as soon as she was bit. She doesn't seem to be bleeding anywhere else." A gentle hand met my cheek which I flinched away from.

"Are you sick, dear." The woman was smaller than the rest but she seemed the wisest.

"I'm dying. Hey, stop!" I shouted at the chocolate skinned girl as she opened my bag and emptied it out.

"Pull ups, stuffed animals. You have children?" I nodded my head.

"I have to get back to them." The girl's eyes went to the necklace around my neck.

"Where did you get this?" The tallest opened the locket, making me begin to thrash around.

"Stop! Don't touch it!" She took it off of me, making tears fill my eyes.

"I won't ask you again." She pressed the gun to my chin.

"I-It's a friend's... She's the one who sent me out for supplies." The tallest chuckled.
